Plant problems at end of flowering - disregard?

I am at day 50 of flowering. I plan on harvesting in a week or so. In this last week, I have noticed a lot of "rust" spotting on a small number of fan leaves (in 4 of 6 of my plants), then they turn brown, dry up and die. I'm just wondering if I even need to address this, being that I'm so close to harvest? It seems to be spreading to the bud leaves.

I'm using Heavy 16 nutrients, but had this same problem in one plant of my last grow when I was using organics, and it really affected the smell and taste of that plant so that's why I'm a little concerned. Should I flush now with plain RO water? I've been steadily lowering my nutrient solution ppm in the last week.

I am in 3 gallon smart pots of Roots Organics soil.

You should flush and feed water only at the end of harvest anyways. This will correct your problem, and flush nutrients out for better taste.

I will post some pictures later, but my concern is if I should try to cure it, or just let them do their thing for the next week till I harvest?

Sounds like some salt build up, and that's common for a medium that has had nutes put thru it for the last 16 weeks or so. Flush with 6.5 ph water, the leaves cant be fixed.

Thanks. I figured the leaves can't be fixed but was a bit worried about my end product being affected. Ive been feeding heavily throughout flowering with every watering and have never flushed. Havent had any issues with this until now. Wondering if I should harvest now at 50 days. Here are the pictures I just took:

I would flush them with pH'd water until the runoff is clear, and let them begin drying out until harvest.

So I did flush the other day, but it got pretty bad in some parts, even affecting the little leaves within the buds. I am worried about the actual buds getting affected, should I chop them? They are kush varieties at day 52 with cloudy and a small percentage of amber trichs. Sorry for the newb questions, only been doing this for a little while.

Alot of Kush look like that at the end, the plant is dying and its a normal look for the final days. I have had some plants finish a few days early even, she will tell you by the % of brown hairs. 80% or more brown and shes ready. She looks ready especially if you are seeing clowdy trichs. I love to see purple leaves on a Kush plant, it means you are treating her right. Turn off the lights, freeze the water and let her finish in a day or 2 with a final burst of energy into the buds. Good job

They're not just dying from maturity, they definitely have what appears to be heavy salt buildup affecting them. To chop or not to chop? All trichomes are cloudy with some amber at day 53, and the calyxs are super swollen with no white hairs, only red.

Ya I'd go with a salinity build up, and, the only time my plants had little white spots like that on her leaves, is when she had spider mites

And, I usually flush for the last 3 weeks with just plain water, and I do mean flush good :weed:

Pretty sure I don't have any pests. I've been putting these plants under the scope almost daily.
you should scope underneath one of those spotted leaves just to be sure. Sorry I'm just insanely paranoid about mites they are trying to ruin my crop! How many days do you have till harvest? I think you are okay regardless of what is happening though
