Plant problems

All of a sudden my 3 week old plant has fallen over and now lays on its side. Except for the whole fallen down thing, the plant looks green and healthy. What's going on?

are the roots showing if not just leave it it should heal and have a stronger stalk after that it was probably to tall or the stalk was to week to support the plant check on it reguarly if it looks like its starting to die straightin' it back up and support it with some thing.

if its nice in green like it should be....

get 2sticks and prop it up so its standing up straight then get a fan on it as well

mine fell over and after 3days proped up i could take the sticks away and it could stand up on its own

or cut one side of a straw and then place the straw around your plant

hope that helps ya

Using a fan, GENTLY blowing on the babies is important for good stem growth and overall plant health. The moving air stresses the plant, much in the same way that resistance training make your muscles stronger. Look out the window to see how Mother Nature does things. You'll see an almost constant breeze blowing, bending and stressing all outdoor plants. Same thing should be going on in your cabinet. GENTLE is the word though.

Also, I've had good luck propping up plants using cheap, plastic picnic forks. Bury the handle in the soil medium and put the stems of the babies between the tines. Careful not to have the fork spring back and break the little stems though. Good luck ...

same thing happened to me (3 weeks old... bad light... fell over...) but two of mine did not recover. I had them propped up with sticks/twist ties gently around them. they stayed up, had a gentle breeze, but just slowly passed away. I only have one baby left, it's doing okay but these were bag seeds so i just pray it turns out female!

if the lights are too far away, they will grow tall and fall over, especially if there in ambient light,if your using florescent bulbs the bulbs should be about 1 inch from top of plant

I have huge healthy stalks, all you need is good light source and they will grow just fine, a fan does simulate wind in nature though, but in nature you have high winds that would break a plant if slower winds didnt strengthen them, you not going to have high winds in your grow room,I only use a fan to control temp, good luck
