nope, but plant genetics is the same, even if you cut the top, there will be 2 new tops, which originally are side branches

I havent tried it but will try it soon, I have 2 clones growing to be mothers, and I plan to get all their useful branches, including the top, and throw away the rest, I don't need to sustain the mother longer

if you look at my grow journal thoes are the rooting agents that I have that you can use to root your cuttings now I also have a a pic of my starting medium , that is Jiffy pucks , they are soil w/o nutes and expand when soaked in water. You will need a green house thing to help increase your rooting %
