plant water globe?

just wondering if anyone has ever used one in a grow??

I haven't tried it but I heard they aren't really meant for growing trees. They keep the soil constantly damp instead of letting it dry out and then giving a good water.

hey just an fyi--i used a auto drip claber system(about $45) and I went away for 8 days twice in my first grow and everything worked fine on 8 plants

The water globes are useless.
