planted 4 days ago today, help?

only about an 3/4 inch tall, cotyledons are still folded together, hasnt completetely sprouted yet, sorry for no pictures, will i be alright? ive been keeping soil damp not wet, in direct sunlight on my windowsill for about 14 hours a day, pics should be available soon! thanks to anybody who answers!

be patient. some seeds take 10 days to fully emerge from the soil. as you're doing, keep soil slightly moist: it's easy with a mist bottle to keep the soil damp a few inches around the plant. GL
