Planting seed into 10 inch net po DWC (Need Help)

I'm going to be receiving my seeds in a couple days and I want to know what the hell I'm doing before I get into it ._. I've read numerous threads but I'm still not entirely sure on how I should go about planting a seed then moving it to a DWC

I'm going to be using a 10inch netpot with a 5 gal res using hydroton pebbles & 1.5" Rockwool cubes

So after planting in the cubes would it be fine to put them right into the bucket? if so how far down do i put it and how much hydroton do i fill with

once you germinate, and have it into the rockwool, put some hydroton in the net pot enough to leave about an inch above the rockwool seed cube, put the seed cube in and surround it w/ hydroton. I leave an inch of space to add more hydroton later once the seedling becomes stronger and also it gets the seedlings roots that much closer to the bottom of the net. run your water about 1" from the bottom of the net till the roots enter the water, then you can drop it to about 3".
