Are you mixing your CaliMagic into the water very first?
Like if you're mixing 20 gals worth, you can use a 5gal jug with 2-3gals of water in it so there's room to shake. You can add the full 20gals worth(50-100ml) needed into that small 2gals of water. But calimagic has to be very first and mixed really well. Then same thing for Flora Micro, MIX, then the FloraGro, MIX, Then lastly Flora bloom, MIX.

That's pretty strange alright. It's got to be some sort of root disease.

I'd get some food grade peroxide instead of bleach. At the dose of bleach you state it's pretty low. I always used 35% peroxide at 0.5ml/L twice a week for a regular dose. Bleach is only 5% so 10ml is not much.

I always added my CalMag last and never had problems but I do put it in first now. Then micro etc. If I'm using silica then that goes first, pH down then the CalMag.

:peace:

Dyna-Gro Pro-Tekt is silica and its the biggest part the cloner solution I use.
Megacrop has potassium silicate.

IMO, raise the water level up to the bottom of the pots so the roots are submerged and see what happens over the next few days.

The roots don't have to be submerged if you have air stones under them. The popping bubbles keep the roots wet in the same way aeroponics does and that works great. Mine always ran an inch to 4" under the pots and I got lots of roots.

this isnt necessarily a solution. more of a see what happens thing. They dont seem to want to go in the water, so make them and see what happens.
100% your call though.
I also dont think your bleach is too high. I just did some looking and that appears to be a fairly common dosing range.

ya idk i thought maybe the ph of 5.3 was too low so i raised it to 5.8.

something is up with my water, not a clue what tho.

i wonder if its my garbage can im storing my RO water in.

Is it a metal garbage can you are storing your RO water in? RO water will leach the metals out of the can. That's why RO filters are all plastic and plastic tubing.

I ran bleach as a sterilizer in my system and never had much luck. I think cheap bleach isn't the same as the pool shock some guys run. There is probably other shit not on the label that's harmful to the plants. Once i switched to 30% peroxide things got better.
