So I live in a Hawaii; not sure if that is related, but I feel plants grow better here perhaps, in general at least. But that's kind of besides the point.

Recently I raised about 6 male plants; separated them of course, instead of killing off. I wanted to collect the pollen. Which reminds me, if anyone has some tips and tricks to saving pollen in a humid area like rainforests of Hawaii that I live please let me know.

On to the main topic though, so I decided to pluck all the nuts off all the male plants a week back and I noticed that within a week, perhaps soon, all of them had grown their nuts back, if not stronger than before. Bear in mind all these plants are pretty neglected (compared to my females) and get less water and less sunlight.

So I was wondering if anyone has experimented with simply plucking the buds from their flowering females, leave enough main leaves and smaller buds and whether you witnessed new buds form afterwards, and what quality were the new buds, and what were the environment conditions, soil, water, sun, humidity, etc; if you have rough estimates that be cool.

It seems like it would be counterproductive at best. Buds need time to mature, so it's not like you're getting any usable product from your early plucks. Why would you put to waste all of the energy the plant has put towards producing that bud, just to make it start over again from the start?

There was a post the other day where people are snipping the top of colas, then another one where this dude put a video up of a jungle plant which was then stripped down to vines and put into flower, world's gone crazy

Yeah I don't know, I don't really have trouble growing where I live so I feel I've entered into an experimental stage. As I said the male flowers / pollen sacs grew back FAST and just as big if not bigger than they had been. So I figured it very well me possible to harvest marijuana without killing the plant, in a way similar to the way people harvest apples and oranges.

I took whole branches off with flowers, let them mature in a glass of water, and drop pollen on heavy paper. Rolled up the paper and bagged it up.
It really doesnt need to dry for long.

Raja that. I'll try that next. Downside to living in Hawaii is there so much life and the humidity allows for plant material to get moldy quick. But yeah I'll try that paper method.

Do you know if sunlight or heat from the sun kills the pollen?
