plants showing multiple deficiencies, or is the ppm too low

running rdwc in veg. using house and garden a&b, cal mag, and epsom salt. Running at 420ppm with 5.8pH. res change was 3 days ago and water temp is 63
just got over some root problems, so they may be weak and still recovering. The bigger plants seem to be doing better, the smaller plants look the worse.

with all the yellowing, they seem hungry for higher ppm, but there is also tip burn on the leaves.

you may try to bring rez temps up just a little while they recover from root damage. make sure that the epsom and cal mag make up only a small part of your nutes. I go with 1 ml of calmag per gallon, and .5 ml epsom salt per gallon. I've had strains that hated cold temps and would turn red and grow slow until you warmed them up.

How close is the light? I run 420 ppms or less as well, and my leaves turn yellow if my led grow lights are burning them up.

I havent had any nute burn issues while running the new 420 nute schedule

im running:
h&g A - 3ml/gal
h&g B - 3ml/gal
calmag - 3ml/gal
epsom - 1g/gal

this got me to about 520ppm and i diluted it until it was about 420ppm

I just got over some root problems, so i am hesitant to raise the res temps. They are starting to punch out new roots and the old roots are still growing.
They are drinking, i keep my rh at 60-65 so they do not over-drink

lights are t5 about 4 inches above the plants

Consider mycorrhizal fungi if possible. Protects against a lot of root disease and can help the plant take in nutes and water. Supposed to be a real helper and very beneficial to the plants. Won't solve the problem but should help stop any other chance of root disease because it coats the area where the roots actually take in water

NO WAY
i just got over my 3 month experiment with beneficial tea. That is what caused the root problems in the first place. It simply did not work for me. I do not know why, but i have better luck without it. I always got too much biofilm and the airstones always clogged.

Get thicker tubes. Could be a oblen. But with Mycorrhizal you don't need to use an air stone. You can just go and shake it up into a gal jug and apply as needed. Real good for clones and seedlings. Got the idea from urban gardener. You should check it out.

There is no light leaks, the black tubs are thick. Right now i am using hydro-fungicide, which kills all bacteria indiscreetly. I tested this stuff on some other plants and it worked well for me. They probably are still recovering.

CalMag and Epsoms salts? I would say you have too much magnesium and that is inhibiting the uptake of a few other elements..drop the epsoms salts, the CalMag already has a proper balance of the two. If you think your plants need more Magnesium then up the Calmag to keep things in balance.

Oblens are typos I make on my phone haha. And didn't know about the fungicide sorry. Best of luck. If you figure it out post what it was cause I'm very interested.
