plants showing sex under 18/6

So this is all pretty new to me but I have two seperate plant that after I pinched them they look to be showing there sex one def has pistols right at the pinch the other looks like balls that's the one I'm worried about but here's the only pic I could get to focus

Ball on a stick
= Male/Hermie.

Lobster claw looking growth = Male/Hermie

First show of gender one of those things = Male/Hermie

I'm 99.99999% sure that is a male

Use your scope and open that pod, look inside, looks cool. You can't open a female.

Any idea why uts showing so early under 18/6?

pre-flowers... it's normal for them to do once they are mature.

It's mature perhaps and males posture for position over the female canopy.

FYI, plants show their sex when mature, doesn't matter if you leave them in veg. In my experience it’s usually around the 6-7 week mark from seed. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later.

sometimes sex shows in smaller than needed containers. i have had plants that are not autoflowers show sex in a 24/0 light period in veg.

So you guys think it safe to say its a male?

I vote yes BUT it's early and could be a Hermie and you can pinch off the ones that look like that so wait a little bit.

You can give it another week to be 100% sure but all signs are looking that way.

Good deal guys ill give it another week before I pull it I have two more that have not shown there sex same strain should I be anticipating them to show aswell? Thanks for all the quick responses and good info

As a general rule, males show their sex befor females. this could very well be a male you have showing up early. The others very well could be females. Keep your fingers crossed and be prepared to pull if necessary.

I've had males go into full flower under 24/7.

Good to kno I would have let it keep going until it was undeniably thanks guys
