hello, today i woke up and my plants started wilting like crazy, they have a few brown spots here and there around the plant... few spots of yellow as well..Some of the leaves are becoming very dry and brittle, and just seem very lifeless..... I put earthworms in the soil today, and just made myself a Co2 generator! Im hoping those two help out a little bit, I put nutrients in a few days ago but symptoms are showing up now? It wasnt a lot of nutrients though! Maybe this is over watering/ heat stress??Im not sure! Does anyone have any advice on the matter? Thanks so much!

Well my watering cycle is sundays and thursdays... so i watered on thursday and it just starting showing these signs today? The soil is still moderately wet though.... Some of the leaves have little yellow spots on them... others have what looks like heat stress... pretty dry and crumbles when you touch them? Any help?

You say you have specific days that you water, i am almost positive this is the problem. Plants dont need water on a specific schedule, and some will drink more then others. They need to go through wet and dry cycles. Yours are either under or over watered (probably over). Do you test your plant moisture before you water?

yes, i have a moisture meter, before i water it usually reads dry to a little moist....I also do the pot test ( picking up the pot to see how heavy it is), So youre saying what i need to do now is let them dry out for a few days? until the top of the soil is a little crusty? or wait until a few inches deep in the soil is? They are nearing the end of vegetation as i will make them flower soon... i hope this doesnt kill it!

ObeyReason, water them until you get run-off every time. Then let them dry out almost completely, the water again. Roots need a "wet/dry" cycle. You can run a million gallons thru the pot and not be over watering. You can water a pint every day and over water them. Understand? It's not how much you water that hurts the plants, it's how long those roots sit wet.
