Hey hey,

Im thinkin about setting up my first grow room, the diameters for the room is 7.9feet wide, 4.5 feet deep and 6.5feet height,

i am thinkin about having 2 of these boxes one for vegetative and another one for flowering, then just a good closet for my mothers and clones,

i was thinkin about havin a big reflector for 4x200 watt envirolite blue spectrum bulbs in the vegetative room and then a 2x 2bulb reflector envirolite red spectrum + one 400-600 watt hps lamp to boost up the lumens i can get in the flowering room,

can anyone please comment on this and tell your opinion on this thougt of a set up i have been working on.

Do you mean FEET?

Cause with those dimensions you just wrote down, you don't even have room for a LIGHT BULB, let alone a plant.

To me that seems overkill on lights. I've heard that u can have too much light and with that many bulbs in such a small space u might bleach ur plants. i've seen rooms that are 12' x 12' x 10' with only 2 bulbs. Granted they were on a light mover, but with the dimensions of 8x4x6 2 bulbs should b more than enough. Maybe i'm wrong, but IMO i think ur going overboard on lighting. :mrgreen:

I don't think it sounds like too much light at all. 800W of CFL for vegging, and a 400-600W HPS and some supplemental cfl light for flowering.

Sounds pretty good.

sounds like you've got your basics covered get some seeds popped bluebucket!bongsmilie what are you doing for ventilation/extraction? cos believe me your gonna need it with a 600 in that space

My 600 guy has an fan hole on its reflector so im gonna fix up a good fan for that leading in another room in my apartment, then 2 others a bit smaller ones leading from my open window and into my grow room that way i can keep the freshest air possible inside, cause im kinda livin in the country and ofcourse im going to have a
big fan with lfilter leading out of the room into the same room as my 600 watt guy is leading into , i might just puts those 2 barks togeather so it wont be as noticeable i dont know its all a work in progress,


if anyone has an advises on this please help me out,
