Please critique my setup

Hi All, new here and new to growing anything.
I just finished setting up my light and vent in my 28x54x78" tent. While I still have 2-3 weeks until anything gets added and it's still easily changeable (I don't purport to know what I'm doing) please critique my setup.

600W 10000K for veg.
600W HPS for flowering.
4" Active Air fan
4" x 12" Phat filter

Add a oscillating fan

The oscillating fan would be blowing over the top of the plant's canopy, right?
The fan is only 175CFM so for intake, I was simply going to use a screen on one of the tent openings. it pulls the sides of the tent in a bit, but not a huge vacuum.

yea your setup does looks pretty good, and sounds like u got a pretty good plan too. good luck..
I think you will get good yields playing around with that kind of setup

That's not a small fan lol. If you are using passive intake a 14" d hole will be required to keep velocities around. 1000 fpm and quite loud. Do you have a fan comtroller?

Gotcha, I gave that some thought too. That would mean going from 4" filter to 6" pendent back to 4" fan; not a big deal but I tried to minimize ducting looses.
Plus with the pendent in a vacuum, that could potentially be an unfiltered air leak.

You should make sure that your light is sealed anyway. You could also put the fan outside the tent, on top, to minimize heat inside and to clear up some vertical movement for your light.

I was just wondering are you growing Hydroponics or are you using soil?

I did loose a few inches of lamp movement going this route. Maybe I should rethink this. I wish I had just a little more room inside but this is the biggest tent I can fit.
As far as heat, I'm not too worried, I'm in the northeast and this is in my basement. Temps in my basement range from low 40°s to low 50°s in the winter. I ran it for 4 hours yesterday and the air coming out was 70.5°F and the temp inside was in the high 60s.

Edit: I plan on doing simple hydronics

I'm only starting with 3 plants; still early in the seedling phase. I've got some aquarium heaters lying around that should keep the water temps around 70.
Hopefully, I can move them into the tent around January 7th.
