Lights: 240w Blackstar LED
Strain: Incredible Bulk / Dutch Passion Blueberry
Flood and drain hydroponic. Change resevoir every few days.
Nutrients: BMO 4 piece nutrient line, and Cal Mag from Earth Juice Elements
PH- steady 5.7-5.9

God let me get this off my chest. I have been struggling with BMO for almost a whole fucking year now trying to get this shit dialed in and it seems to be impossible. I am ending up with like 15gs total in a space that should be yielding 500-1000g (3x3).

I use RO water. Fill 10 gallon res, add the nutrients as recommended and.. problems after problems.
I am thinking about throwing the towel in on BMO and just getting Botanicare or something.

Here is what they are looking like now. I seem to keep having this problem
The bigger plants are about 4 weeks into flower

Two days ago I completely flushed the whole area with fresh RO water. Dumped that water, ran them for 24 hours with 6.0 PH RO water.. then added nutrients at half level because I thought it seems like I had burnt them with the Cal Mag. Doesn't that look like nutrient burn to you? 48 hours since the flush and they are looking even worse!!! Now lots of leaves are like this. I have continually had to pick leaves off and yea.. someone please help I'm going insane

You know what.. I noticed this has mainly happened to the plants under the 240W Blackstar and not really problems under the 180W Prosource LED. Could this be light burn? I have been keeping the lights about a foot away. I thought you could put LEDS close tho? So.. hmm that hasn't crossed my mine. But when I look up light burnt plants, seems like mine are similar

Hmm after looking at it.. I dont see how it could be light burn... LEDS are A foot or more away from the tops.
The temps in the room are also about 75-80

Help help help!!

That can be a little tricky to diagnose without a ppm meter..

Kinda looks like a deficiency but measuring in/out ppm would be your easiest way to point you in the proper direction.

I'm not exactly keeping time of how long they have been going for. I just check the trichs to determine so yea me and time...another topic.

Week 1-2 flowering: They were low on Cal Mag it seemed.. I was foliar spraying them with an OMRI listed organic bloom molasses fertilizer I bought at Whole Foods which they seemed to like. But since I bought some real CalMag and started applying it to res it seemed like perked up quite a bit but then developed the wierd spots. Seems as if it took care of one deficiency but was missing something. Pretty sure those spots are NOT from foliar feeding but I could be wrong.
Week 2-3: Added Cal Mag vigorously compared to what people say on here at 1.5teaspoon per gallon (recommended dosage for flowering plants of the Earth Juice Elements Calmag). Seemed like they like it and started looking strong and gaining that thick, roughness to them.
Week:3-4 Seemed like they got a lil burnt on the tips so I backed down on the cal mag to like 1ml calmag per gallon.
And here we are at like week 4

What weird is i used these nutrients before at a different time in my life and i never did anything like what i am doing now and the only difference I know is the light. RO water, added nutes (no cal mag even then), never even PHd but i checked it one time at the beginning and it was at 5.5
Maybe I should lower it to 5.5 to see what happens?

And as far as light burn hmm maybe stress at the top but im pulling these leaves from older fan leaves or the small fan leaves some being pretty hidden from the light

Seems like phosphorous?
All these damn charts say drastically different things about the intake ph levels.
From what Ph looks like tho.. seems like the most similar one i can find.
Is there a problem with having a constant ph of 5.7 / 5.8 / 5.9 ? It usually stays at the same PH. I've heard you should let it 'drift' but mine doesnt drift.
Thinking back, maybe ill try 5.5 again.
I'll do that for now since I'm desperate. Hoping someone with superior expertise can help here

Oh yea to correct myself about the successful grow of sour diesel (yielded a couple ounces in a 2x2 tent) with the BMO line was exactly the same as this one except : lights/ (now 3x3 tent)/ and PH then was at 5.5 vs now 5.8

ATM going to put the lights higher and back the PH down to 5.5 and see what happens

You ask for help then answer your own questions and discount the advice including using a PPM meter. Good luck to you.

You tube has loads of videos on how to grow weed. Go watch some of them.

Your comment was completely uncalled for and a seriously bad sense of judgement. I have been posting my thoughts, but looking for someone with greater expertise in the area. What would any of those videos have to do with this certain problem. If there was a specific video regarding this deficiency or whatever it is, then yes I would watch it. I don't have time to sit around for 12 hours a day watching random videos. I know how to grow in general, mostly soil. But I love the cleanliness of water only. I'm also an organic vegetable farmer by profession. What I am struggling with is BMO (which I have a great stockpile of atm) and dialing these dang nutrients in. I need help from someone with experience who can post suggestions with eyepics. Some things come by common sense. When you see 1 + 1 = 3... Something's not right. After futher investigation signs say... nope- there are greater problems than just light burn. But I already moved them up anyways because I do think it could help.

And my posts of what I was going to do were for a reference of what's going on atm... what do they call it.. a log? No one is suggesting anything and I need to do something right now. So suck a fucking <log>

As far as the PPM.. inside the package of nutrients it says "A TDS/PPM METER WILL BE OF LITTLE USE TO YOU FOR THESE NUTRIENTS. THEY ARE LIVING AND ORGANIC AND WILL NOT CONDUCT blablabla TO BE MEASURED ON A TDS/PPM METER"

Looks like you gave bad advice again. Take a look at yourself bud before you go around judging like a dumbass

lol just noticed you weren't the one who posted about the ppm meter.
and thought I had already posted it that it's useless here (stated by the owner of the company and sent in instructions with purchase)

bump. still looking for suggestions.

I've been researching all day not finding much except more evidence it could possibly be phosphorous.
I went ahead and ran them at 5.5 and then bumped it back up to 5.8
And started to foliar spray with the molasses extract because when I had originally been spraying them with it after noticing the slight problem they seemed to like it.
And as I stated I quit doing that once my CalMag arrived.

I can't tell if it has worsened overnight though.

first ...stop messing with everything.... all that tinkering you cant even tell whats helping and whats not

changing ph from 5.8 to 5.5 and whatever
is doing nothing but chasing chickens
