Please Help I dont know whats wrong

This is my first grow, i have been reading about it for years and thought i would give it a try but i am already running into problems. I am growing medi bud feminized in an aeroflo 20. I have a 1000w hps on 24. I first thought the problem was a nitrogen deficiency but that didnt work and i may have burned them. I dont think it is the light because there is plenty of clearance. I am running no nuts right now to try and fix it but i am unsure if that will fix the problem. also the water was at max level per directions so i lowered it to bottom to let more oxygen reach the roots.
I could really use some help in diagnosing the actual problem and the steps i should take.

add 1/4 nutes till you see new grow
I only use 4' flos for veg at 18/6, then I use my 1000hps for 12/12

i use the pure blend pro series, cal-mag, liquid karma, hydroguard, and sweet.

I've had a perp harvest going for over a year off 3 clones which are the mums.
