auto glueberry OG & Tangerine dream auto at 16 days old.
they are in 3 gallon pots using promix HP and 20% perlite. I've been feeding with 1/4 strength AN 3 part nutrients every watering set to a PH of 6.2(bubbled tap water) they are under an SF-4000 set at 24" above canopy. This isn't my first grow but it is my first time using promix HP(peat moss) please help me out RIU family!

Thank you

So many people who have problems on here are feeding hydroponically. I go greener and go miracle grow all purpose no soil compaction, holes everywhere in containers if you dont do it this way i cannot help you with your results. There is alot into growing good weed even though most of it is common sense you have to discover some of it first. Always elevate containers in a bowl, balways have a bit of water runoff, sponge the excess. Always water soil first then make hole and then drop seed. Start with low sodium spring water, then on tge 3rd watering and till tge end you can go city water as high as ph 9

I appreciate your input but I will not ever use all purpose miracle grow. The automatic watering system I built distributes 1gallon to each pot which allows for 15% run off, and the fabric pots are elevated on the aluminum run off tray I built. You cannot use water as high as 9 PH as the roots will not uptake the nutrients correctly and that high of pH will cause lock out. If I was a completely new grower and followed your advice I wouldn't get to far. Thanks for your time regardless

Yes you can. It is the start of plant most important. Dont tell me what i xannot do whem i have been doing it with successful results and potent buds for years. I startvwith average 6 ph low sodium spring water and the rest lukewarm tap water right until 8 to 9 weeks flowering for these kongs

My tap water based on the govt website is 8.5 but the reality is its actually average 9. Govt downgrade it. I grow over 90 percent of my waterings with ph 9 no problem!

What is the ppm of the water you use before you add nutrients to it? You adding any additional cal mag to it ?

looks like calmag deficiency to me. I don’t use chemmys but if you wanna use a good soil mix, I have always seen great results in fox farm ocean forest and dr earth granular fertilizer...444 which you wouldn’t need at that stage yet. I like to water with general organics calmag or something similar-I’ve found you really wanna hit it with both if you’re gonna hit it with one. If she’s getting calcium already, I’ve found a little epsom salts mixed up and sprayed on the foliar can work wonders...just be careful-it’s that balance thing. If you’re adament on runnin promix and chemmys I would look into Jacks 3-2-1 system. It’s pretty simple from what I’ve heard and hard to fuck up. Good luck!

I've only ever used FFOF on my other grows but since the pandemic the local grow supply stores are closed and I was forced to use promix HP which is a completely different ball game

Water ppm sits at 90 before adding nutes, after nutes it's at 550
I'm no expert at soil growing so take this with a grain of salt.... It looks like they may be being watered a bit to much, And they seem a whee bit too light on the green scale. ie less watering, a bit more nitrogen and run full strength cal mag....

Peat moss is considered a soilless grow medium, I don't think they are getting to much water but I could be wrong, the peat dries very quickly especially with 20% perlite added. You might be right on upping my nutes dosage but I don't want to go overboard as they are autos

My buddy’s been tryna turn me on to the Jacks system and even with how simple it is, I get nervous thinkin about mixing nutes up...always feel like there’s more margin for error. But it can be easier to fix if you figure it out! Sounds like some fun strains...the only auto I’ve seen personally was the walter white which ended up yielding like 5oz in a small ass pot! Daggone supersoil...RIP Subcool.

Yes it is, but is it really "soil-less"? lol . You can still over water pro mix. my neighbor does it all the time and I see similarities in the way the plants look .
I dabbled with autos for a season indoors, now i do run an outdoor run for an extra summer crop , They are super sensitive to nutrients like you said. But I'd still add a bit more nitrogen and run full strength cal mag.....
