please help me diagnose this problem

yeah they will honestly rebalance... let the soil dry completely... thats always a safety thing if you see issues let the soil dry and restart any media will always rebalance to its natural ph state
but stop adding all the shit your adding and spraying theres no need for that stuff either... your plants if fed right and in a proper environment should need nothing more than food water and light... grow environment being right obviously

What kind of meter are you talking about?

I simply hand water to waste in coco, up until now I have been using a tedious method where I water them outside my tent and allow them to drain into containers before placing them back inside the tent.

I want to purchase a tray that allows me to water my plants inside the grow tent, the run off then runs down the tray and through a hole into a container underneath which collects the run off. This would save me a lot of time compared to how I have been doing it!

I figure since implementing this would involve having my plant pots raised off the floor, it would solve my temperature problem. Do you think this would be an adequate solution?

oh okay yeah just flood trays to catch run off thats cool... they get fucking dirty though... i used to use them i hated cleaning them and the residue attracts shit like bugs and mold if not cleaned regularly ... but they are good for watering and catching the excess..

yeah having that tray would raise them enough to keep the roots warmer but you should have the room heated at night when the lights go out if it gets really cold... that still effects the soil ... the lights have to reheat it instead of a heater keeping the root zone warm..

you can get a cheap infrared heater for like 70$ maybe less that heats a big room.... like i said infrared heats objects not just the air. so the heat basically is attracted to your pots..in laymen's explanation...i really don't know the science just know what they do and they work.

I am not looking to bump my electricity usage up with a heater if I don't have to, I was already planning on implementing a dripper system so would need various water and air pumps, and was thinking it would probably be wise to pick up a dehuey by the time I am a few weeks into 12/12 as it will be winter here and the humidity can get pretty high.

My room is only 4x4 600w and I am a student, I can only afford so much of an electricity bill and my current plans for restructuring the grow break the budget as it is.

I have my lights off at the warmest part of day to offset the cold temperatures as much as I can, I know that being in a garage having more control of the temps would be ideal but it just isn't realistic for me right now, luckily I have been managing to pull down decent numbers despite the draw backs of my set up.

My last grow I pulled down 14 ounces of really good smoke and that is a fairly conservative estimate. I know my numbers would be that much better if I dialled in the temps and a couple other things but I just don't have the money to spend on having a heater going all night for half the year.

yeah ... I run my soil system.. but i generally put everything in 2 gallon buckets veg for 1.5-2 months and under 1-1000w.. 6 - 2 gallons is what i run ... i generally turn 3oz in a 2 gallon bucket grow... 18oz+ under one 1000w.... I'm not a fan chemical growing... too much to deal with but i would say you should get a PH METER .. hanna is the absolute best they originally were commercial meter company only available to commercial growers and chemical companies.. the hand held ones with a wand are the best.

Are you using smart pots?
any fabric pots leech boatloads of water into the air... they raise room humidity by 20%+ depending on temps...

i always recommend buckets from places like loses... ill send some pics of my flowers in them

Nice plants mate!

I am using normal plastic pots right now, I was planning on using geopots I think they are called, which are fabric pots. Your advice regarding their causing a humidity increase has caused me to think twice about that idea though!

I know someone here that uses the geo pots... same real issues... as long as your actually oxygenating the water theres absolutely no need for any of that crap. the roots just need oxygen..

heres a 2 gallon grow of mine with the root system pulled out to show ..like i said i grow in 2 gallon buckets.. no holes nothing... i just properly water. IMG_0667.jpg

BRO SERIOUSLY SHUT UP your giving new people bad advice this is why i always stayed away from boards.. its like the dingdongs only chime in and and give new growers bad advice without knowing anything about their grow.... its ALWAYS HEY YOU HAVE A deficiency!!

Look at the plant .. he's clearly overwatering the plants sitting in wet soil thats why the leaves are sagging.. when they sit in wet soil it generally stays cold. the wet soil chokes the oxygen out and creates the exact same fucking burn that your seeing.. so please don't tell me you know what your saying without looking at the whole situation and knowing exactly how he's going about feeding
Yea you gotta watch out for some of those types of WEIRDOS on here they like to internet stalk too..
