These are my plants at day 34 from seed.

The new growth seems to be clawing

on both plants

I tested my soil runoff ph the last two times and it was 6.6 and then 6.9 respectively. its weird how under the led in the tent the leaves look bad, but when i took them out into the normal light it looks like nitrogen toxicity to me. being as how i havent been this far into growing before i dont know what to do or what will happen. please help! ask any questions i need to find out wtf is going on

my medium is ffof/ ffhf/ perlite with a tb of dolomite lime and a tsp of a hydro store mineral mix per 5gallons of the soil.

i feed my tap water which i leave out for at least 24 hours for the chlorine.
i have used 1/4 strentgh bio canna nutes and cannazyme. not every water though.

i have been using an organic ph adjust up/down to every thing going in has been a range of 6.4-6.6

my last two runoffs were 6.7 then 6.9 when i watered 4 days later

this is in the natural light

i did do some lst, snapped a branch ( which
actually kinded healed back) and cut off some fan leaves off of each plant, which probably wasnt a good idea in hindsight. my hlg is turned down as low as it goes ( 100 ish watts ) and the 5000k cob is 75 watts and it is too much?

i just checked the plants and the new growth on the smaller plant is cupping downwards, i unplugged the cob.
the quantum boards is 42” away from the tallest top

im on a 16/8 light cycle, i went down from 18/6 because i thought they were probably getting too much DLI at 18

i only started reading the runoff after stuff started looking weird, so youre saying to just water with chlorinated tap water that is well above ph 7, gotcha thanks for the info

No he didnt say that === water in at 6.5 like you have been, and he said that checking ph RUNOFF is like the dumbest thing you could do cuz it fucks with noobs heads and makes them do stupid shit. Thats what he said.

You dont have a problem you just want to have a problem so you can fuck with your plants. Leave them alone thats what you do. and put it back to 18/6

I see nothing wrong here! Nothing at all!

Take a breath, step back from the plant.

Now, find the patience to just keep going and stop overthinking the whole thing!

That plant has 0 that's zero "claw".....

Clawing, tends to be too much N - I don't see any of that here!

My soils are largely peat with some organic comosted matter and lime. I fert from the start and only back off when plants are lush green.

If i had a plant like yours id simply feed every water till she lokked great and the light didnt trouble her no more.

I am confident after years my environment is never the issue so if after plain water my top leaves go all curly shite id simply take it as the plant didnt have enough ferts.

Complete ten more grows and you should be fine, till then its probably a number of things and none ph :-)

Looks like underfert and bad soil practice, try ferting the next three waters till shes green and not having transpiration problems.

Thats if it were in my tent and soil but it aint so other stuff like hurricane wind and loads of additives cluld be the problem.

To complex you need to do a lot of work yourself sorry...
