:wall: PLEASE HELP ME !! :D

LONG time grower, but newbie to the site. Allow me to thank you in advance for any help !!

Michigan Med card holder since 10-02-09 :weed:

I've been growing for 20 years, and usually I'm the one others come to for growing advice.
But I'm stumped on this problem !!

I have "blotches" on my leaves

Here's the fine print ..............
-4'x4'x8' grow room. (250 cubic feet)
-2 x 400W MH(to veg) HPS(to flower) in parabolic reflectors with light-spreaders.
-4 plants under each, 8 plants total.
-450CFM blower/carbon filter, running about 280CFM after filter/90' elbow/resistance. (Room is sealed, inlet air is micron-filtered, and I try to exchange the volume of air in room once a minute or two)
-Pro-Mix soilless mix in 5-gal pots.
-GH 3-part Flora series ferts. (I use 10% under recommended/max rate)
-Superthrive & ThriveAliveB1 at mild rate.
-All meters(Light, P.H, TDS, E.C, ect.) and all water filtered with newer 6-stage R.O. system
-PH of water set to 6.7 just before feeding
-Watered every other day, when needed. Top of soil "fluffed" after.
-Containers flushed every 3-4 weeks with water/cleansing agent.
-Assorted fans here and there. Lots of air circulation
-Temps around 78'-80' & Humidity around 50%-60%
-Day 47 from seed today. Turned lights back to 12 hours on day 40.
-White Widow & White Rhino Feminized seeds from the Green House.
-I keep my room/area spotless clean.
-I'm very anal about the details, and have the time.
-I do NOT normally foliar spray.
Hmmm, what else ..... ??

P.S. Some of the leaf tips are curled down from resting against the outside walls ......

I have been using these products/conditions/technics for a long time with great success !!

-The "blotches" have clear "defind/sharp/distinct" borders, not "fuzzy", and are light tanish in color at first, and get darker brown within days
-The blotches started about a week ago, and are all on the bottom 2/3 of the plants.
-The blotches often are in kinda of a strip/line pattern.
-You can see the blotches on the under-side of leaf.
-The blotches are on about 10-20% of the leaves on entire plant (lower 2/3 of the plant).
-The blotches are spreading !!!
-All the plants are affected.
-Lower leaves are starting to yellow/fall off faster then growing new.

Everything else looks good/normal to me.

ANY help with whats going on ??
I can "guess" better than most. (I'd hate to be talked into doing the wrong thing ), no offence.

I can't find any pics anywhere of these blotches ??!!

HELP PLEASE, it's getting worse fast !! I CAN NOT LOSE THIS ENTIRE BATCH !!

Here's some pics ...... :leaf:

no one can give u gauranteed answer without being there with u but it reminds me greatly of nutelock, i say this becoz its patterend thru a number of leaves, as if its happend at the exact same time ( like lookin at tree rings for a bad winter/good summer). ive had sumthing that looked like that and i flushed (3 x volume of plant pot) and then add epsom salts(magnesium sulphate). that my opinion.

Thanks for your time mate !!

I have seen/delt with Powdery Mildew before, and I don't think it's that. (if you could see in person, you could see up close it's a different problem I think).

P.M. has a fuzzy look with "fuzzy edges", is more roundish in pattern, and white'sh in color. And these blotches have "sharp" borders, many are strip pattern, and are more tan/brown in color.
I have really good ventilation(about 280CFM after the filter/elbow/resistance of ducting), and lots of 4"-8" fans all over the room for good air circulation.

Thanks for the help though !!!!

I'm still lost ...... I guess I'll flush them
(Even though it's only been 3 weeks since last flushing, I go a little light with the ferts, and over water 10% of volume of pots to "micro" flush every time ... to avoid lock-up/salt build-up).

Thanks guys, PLEASE keep going with more suggestions !!!
...looks like powdery mildew.

did you check your run off PH?
only two things cause a nute lock out..build up of salts or wrong PH.
its doesnt look like nute burn or the tips of the leaves would be curled and brown.
i think id check the run off PH . and give it a light feeding with something like earth juice micro blast.
good luck

your first set of pics looks like it could be a pest sucking the chlorophil out of your leaves , or a fungicide , have u checked underneath the leaves ? but that last photo you just posted looks like a deffiency ive seen online b4 but i cant put a name to it , are the spots going like grey/silverish ?

-I have a 10X loupe and looked very very close for any bugs anywhere on the leaves/underneath/stems.
-The blotches do go thru to the backside of the leaves. Can be seen underneath leave.
-The blotches start kinda grayish/tanish, then go brown later.
-They are often in a stripe pattern, as in pics.

-I haven't had a lock-up issue in years !!
-I have 10%-20% run-off when watering and flush well every 3-4 weeks to avoid that issue.

That and the fact I use GH Flora series + tells me it is not a deficiency in anything .... same system/ferts/ect Ive been running for a long time.
But I've been wrong before.

Yea, you think so ??
Hmmm, might be the problem, I'll give it a try.
Any idea what is causing the issue in the first place, and you ever seen these exact blotches caused by that issue ??

Thanks bud !!

PLEASE keep up the good help guys !!

Well, I have done a few hours of research last night ......
From what I see/read, I don't see a Cal/Mg deficiency being the problem.

ANY OTHER IDEAS ???

I would ease up on the nutes..looks too green, and your plant looks as if its on its way to overfeeding/root burn.

I would also ease up on all the additives etc.. and since your running gh, ever thought about doing the lucas method/formula?

8 ML OF MICRO AND 16 ML Of BLOOM per gallon throughout the whole grow :)

change res every 2 weeks.

Heres some links>>http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/showthread.php?t=892

good luck man :)

Come on guys ... Are you reading the description ??
All you guys are just throwing out crap with nothing to back it up

I have run this setup/these conditions for a long time with no problem.
AND I have another room growing with another Caretaker..... SAME EVERYTHING with no problems.

I'M NOT A F@&KING NEWBIE !! I'VE BEEN DOING THIS BETTER THAN MOST FOR 20 YEARS

THIS IS NOT POWDERY MILDEW
THIS IS NOT nute burn !!
THIS IS NOT Cal/MG def !!

....... NEVERMIND !! I don't need anymore INCORRECT guesses with nothing to back it up. I can guess better than most of you guys !!

I have spent 20 hours on this site in the last 2 days, AND HAVE READ MORE BAD ADVICE BEING GIVEN OUT THEN I CARE TO READ ANYLONGER !!

SORRY I ASKED, BUT I THOUGHT MEMBERS IN HERE KNEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT .... NOT JUST POSTING CRAP JUST TO HERE YOURSELF TALK.

did you ever check your run off PH?
i know your not a noob but its all i can think of . if everything else is good ..youve flushed . you feed proper . your lights not to close to the plant.
no watering it when the lights are on.
if the plants soil has the correct PH the plant must uptake its nutes and micro nutes without any problem.
the soil PH can be determined from pouring water through the container and catching water on the bottom and doing a PH test on it.
the only other thing i would be able to think of would be some sort of root fungas causing it.

I know you're not a noob, but I am. This looks like a problem I saw at a grow op before. It ended up being a mold issue in the room that was being spread by the ventilation system. His mold happened to be in his walls and floors, he said you couldnt smell it or anything but it was spread via airborne and got into the plants soil/hydro root system after time
