Please help second post this is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK guys here we go again. When I first encountered this problem I created a post but got little to no feedback. Iam reaching out for help a second time cause this happened again to another two different plants. I am growing Kandy Kush in 3L pots with canna coco, canna A and B and occasionally some GH Floralicious Plus. They are under 8 x 600w HPS lights on temp is 78 and off is 70. The first four pics are of 2 plants that are between 3 and 4 weeks into flower the last 2 pics are of 1 plant that this same shit happened to but it is 8 to 9 weeks into flower. They start out budding normal then all of a sudden they get the claw and I start getting leaves growing out the bud and it starts getting all stretchy. End result is last 2 pics. Some real fluffy buds that are just stringy. They still produce a decent bud and potent, just ugly and stringy and no one likes it. I've been reading around and from what I've gathered this comes from over nuteing and over watering. I have been flushing with PH'd water for the past week to no availe, they continue to claw and stretch. I'm scared to start using nutes again. I need to figure out how to make them start growing normal again. how to make them stop stretching and start producing a normal tight bud. If anyone knows what this is, what causes it, or how to fix it please help. Thanks.:sad::leaf:

One thing I forgot to mention is that only the small new growth leaves are clawing not any of the older large leaves. and that is confusing to me.

It would appear to me like overfeeding N. To much N in flower can cause the secondary "stretching". I believe I am also seeing some pest damage on pic #2. Clawing can be the result of several differant things, by my guess is overfeeding and stress caused by over feeding. Are they from seed or are they clones? If clones from the same mother I would suggest it is in the genes. You also say you have (8) 600W HPS's but you didn't say how large of an area you are growing in. Hope I have helped.

In your case less is best when feeding and such , water can make a crop and break a crop .. Flushing will only make things worse .. Youll find in time the right balance and this will be a mental marker .....

I dont like to give my girls anything in excess untill at there peak flowering stage ........

My first question would be are you letting it dry out between waterings, ( I don't know anything about the ferts you mentioned), but I don't think you should be giving any N until you see a need for it. Don't give just because you have it. And how long do you plan to let them stay in 3l pots? That sounds small to me for 8/9 weeks into flower.

my growing area is a 25' x 30' room. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds like a consensus. To much N. I give my flowering plants N during the first week of flowering then add N as the plant shows signs of needing N. For me it is usually around half way thru flowering. Then I cut off the N again after 1 or 2 feedings. Of course each strains nutrient needs are differant but as you get to know the strain it will become automatic. I agree with ProfessorPotSnob about not flushing. That is a huge grow area you have going, very nice.

Thanks alot for the advice. I'm gonna wait til the top of the pots are dry and then I'm gonna sart mild nutes again!

If it was me I would give them only water for the next 2 or 3 waterings. Remember "Less Is More". When the leaves point up to the light, this is the plant talking to you saying ok I am hungry. When the leaves point down they are saying "I just ate a thanksgiving dinner and I am stuffed".

Sorry they're actually 5 gallon pots. You think they're big enough? My plants are about 6 ft tall.
