please help with my questions.bout ventalition.size fan.etc

hi . i hav a new grow tent size is 2m. length/1.2 deep/ 2m high.i got a 5" inline attached to my filter which pulls 280 m3h.. il be use ing 2 600 watt bulbs with a just a wings... what extractor size will i need for this grow space..il use the 5" inline as my intake then.any help pls..

Rule of thumb I keep reading is that your vent system should be able to replace the air in your grow area in 5 minutes. I think thats more geared to supplying adequate fresh air. My grow situation I have a air cooled hood w/one 600W and if I ran fan at full speed my room would get too cool.

You'll need one that extracts more than the intake, despite the filter being attached to the extractor (which like ducting obstructs and limits the throughput). Active intake should be roughly 50% of extractor spec. Extractor should be roughly same as amount of watts optimally, though then I would add a passive intake, and can be much lower depending on climate, fans, cooltubes etc.

I use a 370 with thermostat, runs at 40% most of them time. That's for one 600 watt.

660m3/h is equal to about 400CFM.

yeah. wish i had got the cooled hoods when i got my package.choose ajust a wings..im not far off. nice 1...

nice 1.jon.. was hopeing 6"rvk would be enough.would hav got an 8" then..thank you.

Make sure its the 6" L1 version otherwise the A1 @480m3/h won't be enough to cool the area as well.

yeah iv noticed mate.its only 12 quid diff..i can get the l1 model for £80 . do u know any where else does em cheaper online..will this be ok for the 6" 500mm phat carbon filter..nice 1
