Hey guys! my first grow is nearing completion (week 8-9 flowering)! The once thrownseed-wildgrown-adopted-TLC'd and now beautiful plant started this May is nearly done flowering (I think?). The plant is by now rootbound in its 3.5 gallon container. The leaves have been turining yellow and dying starting from the bottom up for the last week or two. Is that normal? The buds are looking great- I wish my camera was good enough to capture a really good trichome/bud shot. Maybe upon harvest.

Other Info: 20/10/10 Veg'd (i got the plant @ 8in tall @ scrawny) for 2-3 weeks, gradually (1-2 more weeks) changing to 10-15-10 into beginning of flowering, and now a mix of a local specialist's 0-2-1 and FoxFarm Big Bloom since then. *Though I have added a few drops of the 10-15-10 to try and stave yellowing of leaves- i didn't know if i had a deficiency or not).

Anyways- I would love any/all feedback/advice from everyone!

Please post away!

sr chronics got it right 2-3 times the amount of water and make sure it completely runs through the pots, however be mindful NOT to let ur soil turn into mud

hmmm i guess i could go take some right now. my camera is just so shitty. my phone takes better shots i swear.

lemme see what i can do.

OH YEA! almost forgot- when i flushed the other day i discovered a bunch of baby geckos living in my plant's pot/roots? these things were like 4-6cm long. weirded me out. anyways i now have 4 new pets. maybe ill take pics of them too.

About how long you are till harvest...It looks like all the pistils on the plants are still white and im on my first grow too and one of my plants still has all white pistils as well (2 months into flowering) and im not sure either if its harvest time, but i dont think so...

So I remembered the other day (yes f'n 3.5 months into my grow) that i have an HD videocamera that takes some decent stills (im still working on focus settings etc.)- and by decent i mean 100x better than my other shitty digital.

okay anyways here are some bud/plant shots.

were at the 9th week flowering, the tops are still quite white and are just starting to develop crystals while the bottom of the plant is just Sticky McIcky w/ these dozens of tiny delicious buds. oh yea, upon advice of a local green thumb (knows his shit) i harvested the bottom 4 branches- they all yielded < 2.5g so it wasnt a big deal. plus they were dank- even considering the microwave dry they went through. Relax! though: i saved the largest one for real drying/curing (i figure i should start practicing). I flushed yesterday for the 3rd time and will probably just aim for one more before harvest. still using ~1/10 of normal flower nutes + maple syrup (figured id give it a try).

soooo tell me what ya think!
