please need help- clones

have a plant about 6 weeks old....about 1 foot tall ..but is exploding with flowers/ buds that are clumped around the main stock...then there are about 7 single large leaves long stems coming out from the stock my question is can i trim these large leaves from the main stock to start as clones ....or do they play a function in the development of the flowers/buds..any advice much appreciated

They are your babies Fan Leaves, They process the most sunlight, and are a vital part of the plant, You COULD trim them, but I would leave them right where they are.

you say buds everywhere too late toclone sounds like

I belive what you're calling buds/flowers, is new growth that hasn't grown out yet.
You cannot clone the fan leaves, they may get roots but I don't believe they'll grow into anything.
I'm a newbie also and started a bunch of seeds about six weeks ago. I have some that are growing like yours. Let them go and they should branch out in a few more weeks.
