Big bloom only will not be enough. Big Bloom is weak enough to use on clones and seedlings and is organic. Tiger Bloom has the majority of the mobile nutes and it has a lot of the micro nutes as well. I could not recommend Big Bloom only for any cycle of the plant other than it's first 3-4 weeks.
Serapis,

Thanks man i appreciate it. What about the other supplements that FF has (Open Sesame/Beastie Bloomz/Cha-Ching)?
Do i really need those? Will the Tiger Bloom get me through the grow combined with the Grow Big/Big Bloom and EarthJuice MicroBlast I got?
I have $30 that I can spend so I can buy the Tiger Bloom is there anything else you would recommend that I need? Thanks

Wish I knew how to help. The 'Rain' is new for me doing it (followed him doing it for a long time), but RiddleMe might have something to add to this. It's why I like the Jack's. Cheap & simple.

Big Bloom will definitely not be enough. I'm using the trio right now, and my first actual plant went without tiger bloom and was skimpy compared to the buds im growing now with tiger bloom. imo tiger bloom is probably the most important one to get, because that goes straight to what you're smokin ;)

The FF solubles are extremely expensive, but I've heard that they have some great results and i think they last awhile too. I might pick some up for my next grow and try them out.

Yeah they are expensive and I got caught up with all the hype so to speak......But I have them so I am going to use them. I am off to the hydro store to pick up some Tiger Bloom.

Hey kudaross, from your grows using FF do you go exactly by the feeding schedule by FF?
Did you follow every single weeks recommended dosages or did you go less than recommended by FF?

Thanks for getting back with me.

D,

Yeah I know where I went wrong by doing it too soon from when I fed my plants. I am still learning how to read my plants. Its obivious that I dont know how to yet....
Oh your babies are really taking off my man, good job!!!!

It's all about learning. Every time I think I have stuff in line I get a new curve-ball thrown at me. Thanks & wait till you see them now after the 25% Jack's. They'll snap out of it for ya.

I agree, I was scheduling my plants with drip irrigation 2,3 times a day in veg for 10 mins,

Flower was 4 times for 10 mins...They suck it up like crazy....I would boost them with bloom boosters once a week...I had 6,7,8 foot plants and had to tie em down under the lights...

Your wilting looks like too much, dial it back...maybe up the N if they are in veg...since N helps with vegetative growth...the others are needed too...

From my experience I used AN nutes that had ratios...and my plants exploded....but I drip irrigated. Oxygen is key, if you have Hydrogen Peroxide add that to your water...That provides oxygen and also kills microbials...

Yea keep in mind, each strain is so different, they are picky....take the advice from the breeder or research your strains...

Maybe collect and use rain water...its good enough for nature...

What soil are you using. I think your are over saturating your soil and flushing out all the nutes and maybe ph prob. Here is an lsd from my last grow. All FF nutes and OF soil. Got N tox Had the yellow leaf and claw. I flushed let dry out then went back on to 1/2 dose flower and added veg and cal mag then worked up to full strength. I managed to save most the leaves but once they are yellow they wont turn back green. Went 9 weeks and yielded 64g dry. So dont panic like I did just learn your girls and what they are telling you...

Oh and the beastie cha ching and open, start very very light. I would master the main three before the BIG THREE lol. Or do like me try it and see. It will burn every leaf off. But it will put out some monster colas. See my avi...Her is a WW I pushed with the FF steroids...12.5 weeks 125g dry.

Wow SL2 those are some serious size buds....NICE!!!

I am currently using SuperSoil with Perlite.

I dont have the supplement line of Fox Farm, dont have the budget for it right now. I do have Grow Big/Big Bloom and I purchased Tiger Bloom today. I wasnt using Tiger Bloom just the Big Bloom and Grow Big. My plant has never had a full dosage of nutes. Actually I never took the Grow Big pass 50% of recommended dosage. I am to blame for why my plant looks so bad...I completely screwed the nutes from the first time I was using them. I just recently purchased the Big Bloom cause I was only using Grow Big in the beginning. NEWBEE Flexing dumbness!!!! LOL.

SL2 You are right i really need to learn how to use these 3 nutes....because if I understood them at first I am sure my plant wouldnt be this bad. Here are pics of them today. Not so good, still yellow but at least the bud sites are still growing. Sure they would be in better shape if I didnt mess up but I am learning from this and it will be better on my next grow. As far as the strain....BAGSEED. Unknow but I do have seeds from attitude just wanted to grow a bagseed 1st to get the expierence. Thanks for coming in on the thread and I appreciate you helping me out.

Doesnt rain much here in Cali but when it does I do have the Homer Buckets out....The strain is a bagseed so it is my 1st grow and its actually the first seed I ever planted in my whole life....I do have good seeds for my 2nd grow.

Thanks for coming to the thread appreciate you reaching out to help...

Your welcome. I went into a panic when mine did it like a little biotch lol. I am no expert. I am still leaning myself. Done 4 grows and learn something new every time. But I keep changing things in my grow. Makes a steeper learning curve.

I was just reading up on supersoil and I thought one of the keys was not to overwater...activates to many nutes or something. That might be the issue. With a few grow buddies on here we determined mine was N tox. Too much of one nute can lock out the others. I cant remember exactly smoked too much of that LSD lol. I want to switch to subcools supersoil next round. I see another learning curve for me...

I know what its like to put in all that work/money to see your girls sick...People will have diff opinions based on what has worked from them...I just wanted to show you that not all is lost and she can still turn out great...consistantcy will teach you a lot.

The curling of the upper leaves show that the plants at one point recieved too much nitro or something. Whatever the reason it devastated the roots so the plant resorted to feeding off fan leaves, this is why they get yellow and dry out. Being rootbound can have the same effect or insufficent watering or excesive watering or plant pot drainage problems etc can contribute to root problems but the upper knarling leaves shows contamination in the soil. If your soil holds moisture for extended periods and the plantpot has poor drainage this can hinder the plants recovery. You may have to transplant to refresh the soil. When using dirt I always put a layer of gravel at the bottom of the plantpot to ensure good drainage. If you were growing in lava rock and/or clay gravel it would be way easier to correct these types of problems.

I agree with that but its hard to learn how to read your plants especially if you never planted anything in your life and have zero expierence. I am learning how to read my plant each day and I am sure I will getting better each day.

I am a newbee and thats why i did a bagseed 1st which was probably a mistake because I have no idea what I am growing.
I have a lot of lessons learned with this grow. Here are some of the other mistakes I made:over-watered, nute lock-out, dropped my light on the plant, heat stress (prior to getting my tent), improper nutes, improper feeding schedule...I was feeding my plant nothing but Grow Big never even used Big Bloom till I had a Lock-out in soil. So all these mess up are costing me but you cant put a price on the learning expierence.

I know that come time for my 2nd grow I will be more prepared and have some expierence.

As far as my plant, it got even more yellow but the bud sites are still growing. One of my other plant is starting to get perky again and I just found out yesterday its a Female. I will post pics later.

Peace

You knew it was Cannabis.:leaf: Since you've never grown a plant and said you have zero experience that was the key.:-P
I think you did right to learn with a bagseed. Re-reading your mistakes again, I don't see how knowing if it was a Northern Lights #5 or a Trainwreck would have helped. Some require less feeding, maybe more. Reading when it needs fed would be the same either way.
You have the next one to start reading what it needs. Congrats on the lady.

Thank D....Just before I the lights went out I found out that another one of my plants is a FEMALE, thats 3 out of 5 and 2 are still pending sex...Not bad for bagseeds...Actually surprising. Maybe they were feminized bagseeds.
