Politics = Corruption?

Yes, because politicians stand to gain too much money and power from being politicians. The first step to eliminate corruption is to implement clean election laws, so as to level the field. Therefore making it possible for poor people as well as rich people to hold high political offices. It goes without saying that such a system would not allow big corporations, just people, to make political contributions, and only in small donations.

Just an idea on how to start turning this bullshit around.

BOOOOOOO Citizens united!

At this point, due to the ruling by the SCOTUS that says money=free speech you'd have to get a constitutional amendment or any election laws limiting the power of money will be deemed unconstitutional.

I'd like to get a "constitutional amendment" to fit right up the supreme courts' ass, (yeah their collective ass). How's that sound? You think your state would ratify it?

On a side not, anyone think Sandra Day O’Connor was remotely boneable back in the day? Just wondering, not here to judge you.
