Pollen Exposure

First time growing and I'm just practicing with some bag seeds. I couldn't tell male from female before flowering but 1 week after flowering it was evident I had one male plant. I removed it as soon as I found it.

My question is:
How much pollen exposure does it take for the females to be pollinated? (It didn't look like the sacs had opened but I'm new to this.)

Thanks

It sounds like you got it out in time, It probably didn't have time to have pollen yet, I don't think a week is long enough for pollen to have come out. just make sure the male is gone and destroyed. Good luck and happy grow

sounds like you got it in time, if that ever happens again though i recommend spritzing it with water covering it in a trash bag before removing it from the room for added security.

Water decreases the chance of pollination and if you are wondering if I will pull my plants back to mist the ever loving hell out of them I will let you know I do. Mopping with bleach has been a staple in my grow for almost a decade now too by the way ;)

P.S. We do not put slightly wet plants under intense lighting, completely dry then put them back. They don't need to be in the dark just not in the footprint.

I'm harvesting now and I did find a few seeds but not many. Is it possible that a few flowers were pollinated but most were not on the same plant?
