Pollen lifespan.

Hey all,,, I just found a hermie at 7.5 weeks into flowering ..... f***in pissed but I'm more concerned about my future grows.

How long is pollen viable for? Should I be worried about pollination of my next crop?

If you dealt with herms/late males, how do you clear out your tent of the pollen? And how do you make sure that it is in fact clear of all pollen? (I'm sure a lot of pollen is around the area if you have an exhaust fan that pulls air out of your tent..which is sucked back in :( )

Thanks a lot..

Pollen wont survive more than week or two unless its dried and stored in a freezer.

EDIT: Nm, ive done some reading that it can stay viable for a month or two, so im not 100% sure. Better to disinfect the room with bleach or something just to be on the safe side :D

bleach would certainly be effective, but may be overkill
just dampening should be plenty, moist pollen is dead pollen quite quickly
spritz with a mist bottle of water
