Poor Man's Grow

This is todays setup, got two 18 watt FL and one 23 watt CFL, made a quick aluminum box and tomorrow i will trad ein the FLs for 2 more 23 watt CFLs. Ill also be making a better box for them. The plants have been under poor lighting the first week and ill now need to suck up to them to get them on the right track.
This is not a grow under ideal conditions, its more of a lets see what happens kind of thing with maybe in the end 40-50$ invested.

Left is the setup from outside, i outlined it in red because it might look confusing.
Right is a pic from inside with two plants, one cfl in middle of them and two FL overhead (truned off in pic to be able to make picture) with aluminum all around.

Should have just used 1 48 inch shop light floro double tubes for like $8 at walmart. this plant is stretched bad and will probably snap if it makes it much longer

Ouch dude, yea the FLs cause stretching bad if you dont have enough of them, get them underneath CFLs so they can hopefully heal...and put a fan in there to move heat...Foil causes hot spots. The fan might also help strengthen that stretched out main stalk, just dont make it tooo windy.

thats the first day its in the box and they are stretched because they got bad light before.
Weeeell also it seems like a leaf got too close over night so ive moved the bulbs around a bit.

FDD2BLk that thought crossed your mind too? Seriously Variable, try to get away from the foil idea, it does cause hot spots that can hurt your plant. Try Mylar instead its super reflective, but doesnt distrubute heat the same way foil does.

this is the how i set it up using what i had atm, within the next few days ill be changing it all.

Made some changes in upgrading to box number 2. Looking better, still have the two FL and one CFL, but added a fan and made a nicer box. Timer is set up to 18/6.

Im in europe, its not really a dorm, but still the rooms are only for students. Its just like a one room appartement.
