Yo what it do RIU,
I am 50% done with my grow room build in my 6'2" by 6'2" Master BR closet, but one thing that I am having an issue with is heat and humidity. Being that the Master BR Closet is in the Master BR Bathroom, and the bathroom and closet have no ventilation, things get pretty hot and humid in there. Lights have not even been installed yet and no plants are inside either. I don't have a hygrometer yet, but I can tell it's in the upper 70's maybe even 80's depending if I've showered recently.
I have been looking into portable A/C units because I am under the impression if I have an A/C unit running, it will also be collecting the condensed water at the same time, correct? I would be killing 2 birds with 1 stone, correct?
If this is correct, I need to know what size to get for my 6'2" by 6'2" by 8' space. I already have plans to mount the carbon scrubber to the ceiling and having the 6", 440 CFM inline fan in the attic pulling air out of the space. Should I cut another hole in the ceiling to send the outtake of the A/C unit and exhaust it into the same attic space? I also need to make sure I bring in enough fresh air into the room from a clean source, and at this point, it's only coming from the other side of the false wall in the closet. Would that be fine? Or should cut a hole in the wall that faces empty space inside the house? I feel like if the only intake is coming from the other side of the false wall, it will be bringing in humid air because that air is coming from the bathroom.
If you also have a highly recommended brand of A/C / dehumidifier, please, let me know.
