possible drying issues

So i decided to hang the entire plant to dry its been 4 days only and the fan leaves are getting crispy already but the buds are wet still

The main stem is no where near snapping

Also all the red pistils are still on the buds making them look like red puff balls--do the fall off or do i trim them off or what

it can take a week or 2 for them to dry and since your drying the whole plant then it will take even longer for the buds to dry.its also harder to trim so i manicure before i dry always.those hairs are your friends dont you dare touch them! some people squish them with their hands to collapse the buds but thats for commercial use to get more in a bag.your real smokers know that fluffy buds are fresh picked and worth top dollar

Just finished some i hung with leaves still on. Got a nice slow dry, good smell.
But the trimming was an absolute nightmare..

i woulda just trimmed then hung for a slow dry i think the only diff would be the fan leaves pushing more food into the bud but im not to sure correct me if im wrong
