Possible nutrient excess?? Or watering issues?

This seems like a tough one. I have 3 plants that I'm treating all mostly the same. My Northern Lights, which so far has been the most sturdy of the bunch, thriving through all of my mistakes, is currently struggling a bit. 11 days ago I fimmed both the Northern lights and the Jack 47 (back left NL, Front J47). I haven't been using nutrients because I have FFOF amended soil. I did use some at first a while ago before I realized that. I used a small amount of veg nutes 6-4-4 Fox Farm right after fimming because I assumed that fimming would stress the plant and it would use extra nutrients... The Gorilla Girl on the right had some holy leaves that looked like possible bugs or just a less privileged seed because no other plants had any sign of pests so I chose not to fim that one. Regardless I did a soft neem oil treatment 4 days ago, following instructions for ratios and used a dash of dish soap like suggested. Because I only treated the NL and J47 with the 6-4-4 nutes after fim I am thinking this might be the cause of the nitrogen excess. The leaves are much darker on those two plants than the Gorilla Girl. I don't believe it is overwatering... I water every 3-5 days even though the soil dries up pretty quickly. I also water all 3 plants pretty much the same amount (around 8oz of distilled water tweaked to 6.2 pH). So if it is a watering issue it would have to be UNDERWATERING... because I would assume the largest plant of the 3 would need MORE water than the other smaller two. Also, the original cotyledons are turning yellow and wilting.

So I suppose my question would be if anyone is more certain than me about what this is. And secondly, if we aren't sure, if I suspect a watering issue plus a nutrient excess... is it worth flushing the plant still?

The solo pictures are all of the Northern Lights with the down curling dark green leaves and the yellow cotyledons. Then one picture of all 3 to give reference.

That looks like overwatering just give it a week or 2 to dry up and continue its photosynthesis period

Hmm overwatering lol damn, I wonder why that one would be affected and not the two smaller plants I'm watering the same amount. Maybe its a strain thing, such a crazy learning experience here

ur fine, my veg tent gets neglected now and they seem to grow fine, eventually after a few kids you just stop noticing little stuff

Lol ok, I did read that veg plants are surprisingly resilient. You mentioned N excess at first. Might it be worth flushing them? Though I heard that can sometimes cause more stress

as for watering i drench the whole pot and wait for it to be light to pick up, drenching helps drain some salts and such, also if you feed in small amounts they will accumulate in the ocean forest. you really shouldn't need to add nutes til flower or min 30 days , easier to just up pot to fresh ocean forest

I thought that then re read your post, they seem big enough to survive on ocean forest, mine are 1 foot tall before I feed anything, the lower leaves will yellow abit if your in need of feed

Ok so it was overthinking/mistake to add nutes after fim then for sure. I also put them in this soil pretty early on rather than using unamended soil so that could play into the extra N.

some strains are also sensitive , some like more some like less. it's easier to do all 1 strain first time to learn the phenos habits. its like having many kids , each child has different character, its your mission to learn it. I had a picky jack herer that absolutely hated the environment and the other 5 strived.

Yea, this was a bit ambitious lol. I'm taking daily notes on all 3 so hopefully I will gain some insight on how to better deal with them in the future. I am actually really fascinated by that though. They are just like children with their own personalities and such.

you could flush but I'd just start watering til you get some run off basically refilling the old with the new , I would start low as I've noticed my ocean forest does alot of the work , I've hardly fed some strains seem to love just soil and water , barely any feed.

nothing but ocean forest on these i dont feed any veg food unless I plant to veg 5+ weeks, for now at week 4 I start mega crop but thats because they will be heading to flower room around week 5 or 6 depending on size.

ignore the white dust its diamectous earth my bags of ocean forest always come with fungus gnats and I've always just blanketed my soil and basement with that shit
