Possible to Stop Growth but keep plant healthy?

In my current setup I have a veg area that is small and a flowering area. The flower setup is maxed out right now and they have about a month before harvest. I need to slow down the growth of my babies in veg.

So far I have topped 3 of them which has drastically slowed there growth and still kept them healthy. But I am sure in a week or so they will kick back up and start growing like crazy.

The plants in veg are Hindu Kush (indica). The larger 3 plants are about 6-8 inches in height.

Any thoughts? I know its the opposite of what most people encounter.

mrduke...lowering the temperature will make the plants grow much slower. my buddy did an experiment a couple years back comparing flowering in different temperatures. plants in room A at 75-80 F grew normally with around 8 weeks of flowering before chop. room B was kept at 55 F and plants showed less than half the growth and tiny buds after 8 weeks. he then cranked up the heat to 80 F and plants resumed normal growth. he was only watering the cold plants 1 time a week as the plants werent sucking up barely anything while the warm room required daily watering.

i guess its possible to nearly stop growth with a very low temperature without killing the plant but it may take some experimenting.

i dont think there is any other way besides temperature to slow the growth of plants without killing them.
