I just moved with wife and 4 year old kid back to my moms house and she has ommp card. Moving in they knew and were okay with our mini grow. Now my step dad is being a complete asshole trying to convince my mom to have us stop. Well I'm not having it and starting to get fed up with his shit.

Anyone who has an apartment/house/condo as long as not just a room or 2 I'm seriously debating on moving otherwise may end up moving to her dads in vegas and its gunna be a big hassle getting everything transferred not to mention their measly 3 mature 7 total limits and 1oz max usable plant material. So id like to not have to do that.

Our op is in a supercloset minifile and a sterilite storage tote. Keeps the smell down a lot and keeps the place super clean.

You might give some thought to not growing and have someone do it for you until you get into a place of your own. This way she gets her meds, and you keep the peace of your moms. Just a thought

coos bay has cheap rent.. there is a 3 bedroom moble home 2 doors down from me coming up for rent..$ 600.00 a month.. on its own lot, not a moble home park, so you do have privacy

Yea he has a slight case of animal hoarding too. He has 3 adult dogs, 2 "kids" and 7 puppies all in a 5bd modular. He's supposedly selling 6 of the pups. But outside has like 20 chickens and 3 cattle. Supposedly trying to work with company he works with to get land and business contract to raise more but nothing is falling through.

So if he destroys my plants like I heard he'll do if he smells it again, what could he be charged with? I just installed ducting to bring the smell down as much as possible too but I'm just about fed up.

He also doesn't believe my wife when she says if she went to a pain clinic instead they'll likely put her on methadone.

I think your original idea is the best one.....move out. If your step dad does not like it, he will just get more and more upset the longer it goes on, and more likely to display irrational behavior. Him threatening to destroy your plants is bullshit, but you are living under his roof, and it is his comfort level that has changed. Try to remember that, too.

What city are you needing to live in, so we can concentrate on helping you with reasonable options.......Portland, I am guessing?

As far as the part about him not believing your wife's pain.....fuck that guy....sounds like you are better off without dealing with his closed-minded garbage.

Yea. Problem is he's not really in enough cahoots with my mom to convince her and they fight all the time. I have a 14 year old bro living with as well. My mom is an alcoholic but I think its likely due to her not being happy with being with him but I think she feels trapped, it started out as her house its in her name but if they divorced at this point the house would likely have to be sold unless I signed for a second mortgage to keep it, but my wife wouldn't be on board with that idea if it were to happen. I'm on good terms and have a good relationship with my mom but its not my responsibility to save her from her mistakes, however I do feel bad for her

As a property owner i believe he has the right to evict you from his property for putting it at risk federally for growing a federally illegal substance, so yeah your the jerk growing in someone elses house, so just dont grow in his house.

Well the problem is the fact they said it was okay before we moved in. Its akin to being "indian traders", considering we had an agreement upon moving in. So however we've settled our issues but I'm not sure what to think. He says his only real issue was the smell and I've used ducting to nix that and I completely understand, but if it was an issue of morality he should have brought it up before we moved in so we wouldn't have wasted time and money moving in.

Problem now is his fighting with my now 15 year old brother and getting a bit physical. I'm worried about my son who may be affected by bipolar or schitzo as my wifes entire family suffers from one or another and my stepdads insensitivity to the possibility and stating hell whoop his ass if he kicks th bedroom door or hurts the dogs. You cannot do that to a child who possibly has a mental disorder like that and not to mention no doctor would put their career on the line diagnosing that so early in life. I'm sort of in a catch 22 and prolly will move to vegas regardless for my immediate familys sake and maybe see about my brother getting emancipated and living with us or moving him down at 18. The school dist in our city is a joke. He doesn't even know all neighboring states let alone capitals, etc and I don't want my son to grow up stupid. He's already proven to be extremely smart and could grow up to be an engineer like myself if we can keep him away from having a childhood of abuse and hardcore drug use like my wife went through as a child.

actuly if you are legal you don't even have to tell your landlord... patiants privacy law.. they can't even kick you out over it.. the only thing they can ask of you and thats not to grow in the house.. thats all
