Alright guys (and gals) - Here's my girls at Week 4.5. Sitting in front of them are their clones, which also seem to be coming along nicely. My only concern is the one girl in the middle front. She's not droopy or anything, she just seems really short and her top leaves are all dwarfed compared to the bottom leaves.

Check 'em all out!

whats with the aquafina bottle in the back with the tube coming out of it?..just wondering..im trying to read upon you guys so i'll be ready when i get this sucker.
Well. . .someone here on RIU had given some instructions on how to make a DIY Carbon dioxide generator which was basically yeast in a bottle with some sugar and water. I guess it's supposed to become activated by shaking the bottle. If the fluid inside creates bubbles then it's active. If not. . . well, then you have to add either more sugar or more yeast. They had suggested taking the lid of the water bottle and melting a hole in the top of it so you could just put your finger over the hole and shake it and then it would release the CO2 into the air for your plants. I extrapolated on the idea and decided to put the tube into the hole and lead the tube right over to my plants so the CO2 would release right onto the plants and they could breathe it right up. That's how it was SUPPOSED to work. I honestly have never seen a plant that needed to have CO2 added to it to grow well but I guess some people really believe that it helps so I thought I'd give it a try. It works for about two days but then the yeast dies. Or at least mine did. I should just throw it out. I never used one on my last grow and it grew beautifully until I ended up getting root rot so I think I'll just stick with my old method and forget the CO2.

Anyway. . . long story. That's what's with the AquaFina bottle. LOL.

BTW - I think for the most part we (those of us most active on this thread) are all just beginners with the AG. I think even SICC just started doing these kinds of grows in August? if I remember correctly. He and I both were reading up on Korvette's Hijack strain AG grow when we started our first one (Please correct me if I'm wrong SICC). That's where I got most of my information and Korvette has done a number of grows in the AG from my understanding so I would definitely look for his thread. He's a wealth of knowledge.

Wouldn't you agree SICC?

Nice plants, mine are 7 days old and about 3 inches high now, I'm gonna cut there light time now to 16/8. Any comments or advice, this is my first grow. Also should I add my nutes now, or wait till the machine says to, and should I only us one tabs for a six pod? I'm using the ag nutes now, fox farm for next grow

I've always heard to wait for two weeks and then use the nutes and even then only use them at half strength. I've always - always? for both of my grows - have used the starter nutes right at the beginning and then started right away on the growing nutes but everyone does things differently. I'd say use your own judgement. If you're inspecting your plants closely they should let you know when they need nutes, etc. Listen to them and use your motherly/fatherly instinct.

I don't know about you all, but I check on my girls about 3-4 times a day. I just can't leave them alone for long. I guess I'm overprotective. But because of that I pretty much know if they're looking like they need some sort of attention.

BTW - have any of you read anything on here or heard anything about how long it might take clones to root in Jiffy Pellets? I've used Shultz's "Take Root" rooting hormone for the cloning process, and transplanted them into the Jiffy Pellets about a week ago. How long do you think it might be before I can transplant the clones into 32 oz. cups?

Funny. . . this whole transplant thing. I'm learning a whole lot about it through RIU. My last grow I didn't do clones and I had to leave my grow for a month to go get my own organ transplant. I lost the whole grow, due to root rot, just during the one week that they weren't attended. Goes to show you how delicate a graft and transplant can be. I'm giving as much attention to these clones as I do my own transplant. Hopefully one day people can do clones too.

Hey guys, I'm soooooo sorry! I thought I was on a different thread that I'm subscribed to when I typed all this. Not all these guys are Newbie AG growers here on this thread. My appologies.

I guess I'll post my progression here. Here's from Week One through Week 6, which started today. I'm starting my flowering today with the AG and put my AG Clones in my setup below.
