Hi this post is intended for the staff. I would like to share some of my knowledge regarding security (mostly internet and computer) to help protect our members. I noticed the Security official section is behind a pay/donation wall, for whatever reason that is. Online security should be an important topic for all members here. Especially those who want to share photos of their grows which may be in locations which security is a serious concern.

So whats the rule here? Can I post what I know and answer questions, or can I only post this in the official security sub-forum which is behind a pay wall?

I would read the rules of the forums and if what you have to share does not violate them, post it in the Cannabis Cafe under the Legal sub forum. That is what I would do.

Naw dude Im just looking to share some good info, but the topic "Security" is behind the pay wall. So obviously the site wants you to pay for this kind of info, but I was just looking to post an all inclusive how to on local and network security to maintain safety and complete anonymity on the web and if your machine ever gets compromised. Information protection is the #1 reason people get busted. Not power consumption. Not heat signatures. The number one way people get their house raided is information about your business in front of the wrong pair of eyes which leads to lengthy stays in wonderful locations like USP Lompoc, USP Lewisburg, USP Allenwood, or any of the myriad of state provided luxury centers.

Did over 7 years bro, been doing business for 12 since then. Like to share info so that some of the young bucks on this site dont have to learn the hard lessons I and many like me did. And the fact that they are currently hiding this KEY info behind a pay wall is my only real complaint about this site. This site absolutely rocks. So I was hoping to help some folks with a good detailed post so they can have the basics of self protection without donating to the site. Its also good for SEO hits hint hint
