Pot farms wreaking havoc on Northern California environment

Somebody needs to address these issues. It is one thing to have a medical grow going on on your own property, but what these irresponsible people are doing to the environment is outrageous. One of the ones they caught said he used to be a tree-sitter. How can people be so ignorant? They are using pesticides in large quantities and killing off endangered species. And this is going on in Northern Cali, they are probably selling this poisoned weed to patients, too. Those who buy it who are not patients will soon BE patients with all the crap they are using.

They are but its a slow process for them. I am from Humboldt and it has happened for years. Thats the primary reason why I grow is that I don't have to buy from the local collectives for myself and my family members that use marijuana for ailments. I dont know what other growers use in their gardens; however I know what I use.

You should be turned in for poisoning. Bears, fucking scumbags..
not i have ever personally poisoned a bear and im not trying to stick up for them really, but uh, ive seen first hand what a bear does, well to everything, and its pretty destructive in nature, they would come enjoy your crop and your camp with ease, probably laugh at you looking in the distance at them as they tear through everything. i dont really approve of the guerrilla growing large scale in general, its not regulated, its not quality product, and its purely for profit. fuck the bears, like i said 30,000 and out in the wilderness that means they out number humans in population per square mile in a lot of areas. they are a danger and gun is not always effective or are you there to use them.

You have just demonstrated that you are a complete worthless idiot.

You are exactly what is wrong with the world today - someone without enough
intellect to know right from wrong, or understand that everything has
consequences - stupid ass.

no, what i have done is shown that i am human and will fight to survive, i understand consequences very well, but i will suffer them to survive.

anyways, i dont think you understand whats wrong with the world if you think my very straight forward opinion on bears is wrong.

whats wrong with the world, is our ignorance. and you have done a very good job at expressing that. by contesting the statement(which contains factual information and good logic to survival) i made by saying "im a piece of shit", without any logic or backing to your statement. your statement has about as much evidence as bush saying "there are WOMD over ther' " so next time, we will take you to the woods give you a pack full of jerky and tell you to make base camp about 5-10 miles in bear country and stay for a few days. no guns and no poison for you now?

I agree, animal abuse will never be accepted. In theWords of Mahatma Gandhi...."the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection..."

and killing off endangered species.............I hope you don't mean bears. Despite claims about bears and mountain lions, they're not endangered, not even in California. If they come into communities from Auburn to La.La. land and so forth, munch on an occasional jogger or hiker then there's more than you know.

Uhhh no, not at all really....it just means humans are constantly moving deeper into their habitat ...they would prefer to not see humans but that just wont happen since humans breed n breed with no population control and take more n more land....you are aware bears n cougars were in all fifty states 100 years ago...now maybe four or five.

Fuck using poison on a bear, how about a bow n arrow, and make sure u bring that meat home for dinner. Besides, if its an endangered animal, then u shouldnt be making situations where u have to kill it. Stay out its frikin territory and problem solved, let rangers and authorities cull the bears that leave their territiory. Need some respect for nature too not just some greedy assholes making quick cash in a forest

Was more talking bout cougar numbers than bear..but I know bears can't be all that many if you need. To enter a lottery to get a bear tag...they are not like deer population ....I think poisoning anything is cruel .....I hear bear steak is fantastic. Tho.

I'm from Northern California. How about the fucking VINEYARDS!!! You talk about using water and damaging the environment!! Shit, you used to be able to drive through the Sonoma and Napa Valleys and see the mountains and fields, playing in the small rivers and creeks when we were kids. Now the fucking creeks are drying up and it isn't form MJ grows, and the mountain sides are covered with nothing but vineyards! MJ grows can be and are a problem, but how about the addressing the real environmental issues! Fucking MEDIA!

Uh, those dumb asses need to use safer preventative measures, like REPELLANTS (Such as pisses), or someone to watch the crop with tranquilizer rifles, or just fence to property with electrical fence!
Wow how moronic some people are! Herp a fucking Derp
