Ethylene is in banana... bro` unless your in the last two weeks of flower this will cause abscission ( or the leaf to yellow and fail off) also induces maturity peak in flowers. Which IMO is good....... but at this time only..
The amount of trace element: P...vs the Ethylene..... not worth it unless late flower.

POT ASH from your local plant shop....... IS 46% pottasium and the rest is sulphate..
makes up Potassium solphate.....which is what I think your looking for??? (not the bottom of your fire place it contains many other bad TDS and chemicals depending on what your burning)

Depends on at what stage you are at ?? If in Flower I would not use that... nitrogen at flower will cause Hermi! A bag of POT ASH from your plant shop will cost you $5 bro its cheap...... there is no subsitute.

whats in molasses that helps the plant?
Its a SUPER CARB.. produces sugars with inturn is food for growth.

ok thanks, i just will not use that grass stuff at all, and go get some potash from the local gardenin place. my friend works there so i could even get some for free. And with the nitrogen, can i just use diluted urine in the vegetative stage?

If your mate works there grab some - CHARLIE CARP ( fish emulsion) or SEASOL (seaweed emulsion) they are cheap and great for VEG... feeding once a week. Your piss cotains 100s of toxins as well as Urea and nitrogen... its not worth playing with your own piss for. Minute traces of these elements are present.
