So I germinated my entire seed collection 2 weeks ago.

Dirt is surprisingly hard to come by in the city, so i harvested some from a nearby park.

I had to salvage a few containers to hold my 170 plants.

I started putting some dividers in to seperate the plants but that proved to be quite time consuming so i sorta gave up.

The plants aren't really getting enough sun so they're getting a little leggy, but i'm planning on moving them out to a swamp sometime next week.

yea dude, Im not a pro at growing but I thought the rule was 1 seed per pot so the roots don't tangle and stunt the growth

yup they are gonna be hard to transfer. males are gonna pollinate females. your not off to a good start. you should have gone and picked up some solo cups

Yeah i know i should have had them in separate cups but this year's grow is quantity over quality. I'm not too concerned about loosing a few plants. Plus i'm growing in my dorm room at the moment and transferring 180 individual containers would have been a bitch.

Hi Potatomon,
I read your grow last year and you gave me inspiration.
I have a huge deer problem and other rodents where i want to grow, i didnt want to put mesh up or chicken wire because it would be easier to see if someone happened to walk past, So trees it is.They 4 weeks old and have been up there for 1 week, they are not in pine trees though, it was really hard to find a good tree, but they are only about 18 feet up but the leaves of the tree a very similar green in color.
I did one mistake though, i have 4 pots each with 2 plants, and i need to transfer, dam!

Sorry about the lack of updates, i've been wrapped various chores/errands etc. I've got 20 plants in the ground and i am working steadily to dig in the others. Hopefully i'll have some swamp pics either today or tomorrow but in the mean time i have the story of how i got my babies home:

So i was literally scraping my bowl at my kitchen table when i hear a knock on my door. I wisely pocketed my bowl and went to the door. It was the director of housing and and one of his minions. The conversation goes something like this:

"Are you all set for your room inspection?"

"Uh . . . no."

"Well you had to be out of the building as of 5:00 today." (It was 6)

"I thought i had until tomorrow"

"What made you think that?"

"I donno i must have gotten confused. Can you give me an hour to pack up my shit?"

"I check back in a little while."

Keep in mind that this entire exchange happened within sight of my plants. So i carefully packed all my plants into the largest container i had.

I entrusted my loyal pet snake Chester to guard my crop.

Then i sealed everything up and prepared it for transfer in the back of my parents mini van.
