Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and completely new to growing, but I've read countless grow guides here and on other sites/forums. I'm planning on starting my plants as soon as it gets a bit warmer around my parts, but I was hoping that you guys could throw some suggestions maybe and answer a few questions.
My plan is basically this:
I have a cabinet, (this one to be specific) that I want to grow 2-4 plants in using two Aquafarm bucket systems(seen here). I'm going to use computer fans for the exhaust system, as well as a homemade carbon filter (as seen on this site )
My only concern really is my lighting system... I'm trying to decide whether it is worth it to shell out the $150+ for a HID system for such a small space, or if it's a better idea to go with a lot of CFL's.
And while the Aquafarm's are great and all, it seems like a waste of space to have them in the grow chamber, could I put them in another container, below the grow chamber, and have them coming up through? Or would it be better to just LST the plants? or a combination of both?
And do you think that you could put two plants in one aquafarm?
I know it's a lot, so thanks in advance for replies.
