Potential sea salt build up ???

Our power kush and blue hash (dina fem) plants are 4 weeks into veg. transplanting them into larger pots we collected beach pebbles for good drainage and rinsed well with cold water before putting them in the bottom of the pots. If sea salt was still on the pebbles could this affect the plants in any way? If so is it wise to take the pebbles out from under the plants and sterilize them?

the rinse in cold water should have been enough to protect you from anything that was on the rocks. I wouldnt worry about it since they were washed before use.

we have noticed that the larger fan leaves have started to go slightly yellow/light green between the veins.. however they have had no added veg nutes since they are only 4 weeks old. Is this change in colour due to nute deficiency? would it normal to start low concentrations of bio veg nutes at the start of week 5 when the soil they are in is low in nutrients?

once the plants are a month old, i start to add 1/2 strength nutrients and work my way up over aweek or so.

Sounds like they are hungry to me, post a picture if you dont see an improvement with the addition of food.
