Potpimp's 99 Bean Grow

Looks like things are beginning to pop here for my grow. Day before yesterday I chopped one of my small SLH's, trimmed it and got it hung up. Yesterday I discovered another that was ready to chop so I did and got it trimmed and hung up. This morning I found some of the lower branches of one of the Hindu Kush's with about 60-70% brown trix so I snipped them off, trimmed them and hung them up. I'm saving all my sweet leaf for bubble hash. The two plants and the lower branches didn't produce much, not enough to warrant taking pix of.

The two Maui Wowi plants are almost ready to chop; they could go another 3-5 days so I "girdled" them like they do to get Acapulco Gold. I don't know if it will affect the quality but I don't see how it could hurt so I'm giving it a shot. I'll take some pix later.

The SLH's in the hydro (from clones) are looking and smelling sooooooooo beautiful; they smell like lemon grapes and look like they were dusted with sugar. Those will make some nice bud porn.

I'll probably be really busy in the next few weeks with all the trimming that I'll have to do. My neck and back is already hurting from a few hours this morning. ...but one of those THC laced apple butter bars should make me feel a lot better this evening. Cheers.

Wow, what a busy day!! I went to check on the other plants and the Power Kush was ready to chop. So I took her, two colas at the time. So I have spent nearly all day trimming. Here are some shots of todays havesting and trimming resulted in. There is one shot of a wormhole. I had read something about plants being stunted and killed by this type of pest. This was one delicious task; the Power Kush smelled like grapes. She is by far the most aromatic plant that I have. I don't see how it could get any better than this.

I only weighed a couple of the colas but I would guess there is about a pound in all. My shoulders are still sore this morning.

Man I sure would have loved to had you helping me. I've got the guest bedroom ready for when you want to come down. I can only imagine what it's going to be like a week from now. My house is smelling like a bud factory, LOL.

I've spent the morning trimming up another of the small ones, one of the lanky Maui wowi's. I was a bit surprised to see how big the cola was on her. I'm posting some pix of her. I'm out of string!

The single cola pic is of the Maui Wowi that I chopped today; pretty darn impressive for a 3' tall plant. I've got one more and it has 4 main colas.

I'm starting to be concerned a bit about the really tall super lemon hazes; they have lots of popcorn but they are not really forming big fat colas. I'm guessing they have about another month to go though so I'm not too worried. The big kushes are going to be freaking huge!! The colas on one of them is llready about 5-6" in diameter and it still has at least a week to go.

Oh man! Looka that monster!

I'm already about as far south as you can get on the east coast, give or take some scenic coastal driving. This summer convinced me to spray my st. Augustine grass with round up and plant Bermuda grass. My water bill was getting way out of hand. I curse the Florida sun!

LOL, yes Rasta! Well, I found that my other Maui wowi was ready to chop. Four spindly colas that have been a PITA to keep upright. After snipping off all the little branches, I decided to trim just the main colas and put the rest in the pile for hash. I barely had enough room on the drying line to hang them. The line is full to capacity!

Must be nice!

OK you bud porno perverts, I've got your asses covered again. You know you want it and here it is, some fine Maui Wowi buds, fresh from the homemade dryer (thread is about 3-4 pages deep probably). Not much to report except a little over two oz of light, fluffy buds with so much red hair they look like wooly worms. The dryer is working excellent!! Two days in there and it's done to perfection; doesn't dry too fast and it uses the heat exhaust from my HPS light.

I've got 10 Mason jars full of beautiful bud. I've got some of the Maui Wowi and Super Lemon Haze ready to test. I'm going to do the MW tonight. Enjoy; I know I am.

I was dying to try the Maui Wowi so I did a bowl last night. I only took 4 hits but it turned out to be *plenty*. I was flying!! It came on fast and lasted for at least 6 hours; of course most of that was while I was semi-sleeping. I kept thinking how great that pot was, LOL. The taste was sort of a a pine needles flavor, not good but not bad. It was also pretty harsh but it hasn't been cured, but it's in the process. It was a very good cross between a mental high and a relaxing body stone, "comfortably numb" would be a good way to put it. I may try out the SLH tonight but I have to get up early tomorrow morning and hit the road so I might wait a couple of days.

****SMOKE REPORT ON THE SUPER LEMON HAZE**** Yesterday was a busy day and after I went to bed I had a lot on my mind and was not in the best mood. So I decided to get up and smoke a little of the SLH. I ground up a bud and put a little fluffy in the bowl and went outside. I wanted to see what 3 hits would do so that's all I did. A few seconds after the toke, I tasted a very lemony taste on the back of my tongue. The smoke was wonderful for non-cured and I can only imagine how good this is going to taste a after a month of curing. It hits quick but smooth. Like the Maui Wowi, the high is a blend but a much better feeling and a happier state of mind. It lasted a good 6-7 hours.
