powdery mildew

anyone got some suggestions for contending with powdery mildew? i'm pretty sure it it's what led to the premature hacking of one of my girls that was heavy with bud rot, and now it seems to be on another one of my girls-- looks sorta like a bird shit on some of the leaves. i've done a lot of reading on this, but haven't really learned anything conclusive. i've been spraying with neem, but i'm not so sure it's all that effective for pm. any suggestions?

home depot sells a product called 'organicide', which I've used for two years. Claims to kill it, and a bunch of other things. Never any mold issues here. I found it where the insecticides and stuff are.

caterpillars/worms are another issue....grab yourself some BT concentrate (had to go to a nursery for it) and douse your girls as wet as they'll tolerate, early in the morn.

both these products are safe for humans, the BT says it can be used up to and including the day of harvest. only effects 'pillars and worms, kind of like biological warfare, and it works quick. Spray once a week if you can, and keep those buggers out, they are the chief cause of bud-rot.

thanks man! i've been spraying BT as well, as i've got lots of moths/butterflies hanging around, but i've yet to see any actual caterpillars. i'll check out that organicide stuff though. i'm terrified of having another problem with bud rot!

good to know, especially since i've got it on hand and feel safe with using it in flowering. how often between spraying? i've been trying to keep it as low as reasonably achievable....
You just have to spray again if/when it reappears.

I've heard you can spray with a baking soda/water solution and it will raise the ph and kill the mildew
