Powering a pc Fan controller via PSU

Hi guys,
I've already located multiple threads on how to hook up my fans to my PSU and sadly found out I can't run my 125w cfl from it :( but that's ok.

I wanted to buy a 6 channel fan controller to control all the fans in my case.

Can anyone advise/point me into the direction of wiring up the controller to the psu?

Much appreciated!

Hi !
here's a quick link to your issue. In short, jumper the green to the black to signal the PS to power up.

I highly recommend just using an old dc adapter (1$ @ at thrift store) or a buying a 15$ molex powersupply though instead.

Hi Grow612. Thanks for the resource! Yea I'm leaning towards leaving out the PSU.

Are there ac powered fan controllers? is that the moles power supply you were talking about?

Thanks again!
