PPM method for 2 week veg cycle, then straight to flower

So I want to clone my mother and once transplanted into it's final home, veg for 2 weeks then flower. I usually veg for about 4 or 5 weeks and bring the PPMs up to about 400-500. would that PPM be to high for such a young plant? if so what would you recommend as far as feeding goes? What would be a good PPM to let them grow at for two weeks in such an early stage of their life?

Member the clones are as mature as the mother you cut them from , i would start them out at about 300 but thats only what i would do.. I think you will be fine with 400. Good Luck!

If using RO water, I wouldn't feed clones anything but some cal/mag for the first week. For the second week, you can probably step it up to around 200ppm but anything more and risk burning them. Overall you're gonna end up w/ smaller plants so they're not gonna use the amount of nutes you're probably used to w/ a 4-5 week veg.

Like Jayjammer says, let them idle for five days or a week so they can spread roots. Once you see a bit of root, turn the PPM up to 500 or so.

Little rooted clones can handle the same PPM as big plants. After a few days, crank the PPM up to 700 or so.

I think that sounds reasonable , when I transplant them they will already be rooted so I"m sure they can handle 200 ppm and then maybe kick it up to 300 if they respond well enough.

now, do I want to switch them into flowering right when they reach the grid made of chicken wire or should I flower them a bit before and let the growth from the flowering phase push up above the chicken wire?
