I'm 5 weeks into flowering and my plants seem to be drinking water but not taking in nutes. Can anyone tell my why or what I need to do? Im growing ebb n flow flood with rockwool, 1000w hps, sensi 2 part and bloombastic. Oh and the plants look good except it seems the growth has stopped or slowed quit a bit. Any help appreciated

Not all strains grow rapidly during the whole course of flowering. Some do hit slow spots.

If they are not eating at all in flower they wil not last long at all before everything falls apart. The demand on the plant is not less in flowering. SO, if you notice that they are not eating, and yet they are still looking okay except for the slower growth then they are still geting nutes.

You chould try a flush to make sure that you don't have complete lockout.

Check your roots... Healthy white eat the most.

Keep your humdity down to encourgage then to drink.

Room tems in the high 70's. Res temp in the high 60's.

You should be fine. Are they still taking in water? If they are taking in water and the ppm is not shooting through the roof then they are eating as well.

If every day your ppm level is going up then there maybe to much nutes in the water.

If every day your ppms go down then there maybe to little nutes in the water.

If every day the water level goes down, but the ppm stays the same, then you may be at the ideal ppm for your plant.

I hope some of this helps.

My roots are lite brown. When I flush I just use ro water. Should I use a liquid flush product? Should I be worried about the roots being light brown? Is there something I need to get for them?

How is the ph? It could be lockout. Otherwise she's not hungry so cut back on the nutes and save urself some money. By watching ur ppm and water levels u can tailor ur feeding schedule to the strains specific need. So watch and take notes

The makers of the flush products say you should ude them. They are cheap enough, I use them. Plain water does work in a pinch. There is some discussion that pure water causes some damage as the salts try to push out of the plant, but alot of people us just ph adjusted water.

I think im having problems with my meter. I looked a little bit closer to my roots and I think they look ok. Gonna get a flush product and meter. Then I'll just monitor them. Will they ripen on the plant?

Once you flush them well, and start them back on 1.2 strength nutes then work back up you will be fine. It only slows you down. You should be fine. Flushing them stops the lock out and returns the absorbtion to normal.

am I wrong or is it not that when the water level lowers and the ppm stays the same that the system is perfect. It means that plants are eating and drinking the same amount everyday. That is balanced. A state of eqilibrium. If they just drank water then the ppm would rise as the parts per million of salts increased in ratio.

Ok today the water went way down and the ppm went up! So i'm gonna run flora kleen for the first time. Crazy I got this far without lock out. But I think i caught it in time to finish strong
