Precise Water times??

Please my friends, help me with my issue... I have a 10 x 10 grow room running 3 x 1000 in hydroton 18 bucket site.... What should I set my timer on for watering, I have it on 4 times daily for 15 minutes per cycle... The plant tops get limp right before a watering as if they are starving for agua... How high should my hoods be above the buckets during veg?

hey there batcountry,what are you growing in and did i understand that every 6 hours they get a watering.depending on the size of your plants and i use to feed mine every 4 hours for 15 mins but if your room temp or atmosphere is not right you can run into over watering and even the dreaded root rot,i never did but in the winter and autumn months i do every 6 hours and in the summer months every 4 hours.i do grow in COCO-COIR which can with stand so much water, it is up to the plant wheather it can,but the sooner the plant gets use to being wet all the time, it luvs it and you will see explosive growth
