i have a bunch of plants mostly sativa strains all good bag seedsunder 18/6 vegging. hey are about 1 1/2 months old and havnt show me ther sex exept one plant that i noticed today was coverd it female pistels the plant that is showing sex is one plant that is alot younger then the other plants and its an indica for sure(leafs). do indicas show sex sooner then sativas? thanx sorry no pics i know it sucks . let me know if you need any info

I know Indicas generally have a shorter flowering period than Sativa strains. I don't know if any of that applies to vegetative pre-flowering or not, but logic says it very well might. On my current grow (also from decent bagseeds) I vegged my plants for a full 8 weeks at 24/0 and none of them ever showed any sign of preflowering at all. There was no indication of sex at all until I switched over to 12/12, then they all showed their sex within the first week.

i got 6 seedlings from the same bag seed and only 3 are showing sex so im thinking its got to be something to do with lighting! or crab shoot

Indicas do show pre flowers a little earlier on pure indica strains. Sativas show later and flower longer too. But a lot of seeds today are hybrids which gives a little of everything.
