thanks! that all makes sense to me, especially viz the effects of light discoloration (a definite concern in a led setup i think).

what strains you grow'n, m8?

i grow snow white, skunk #1, power skunk, tried ak48, blue cheese, nebula...nebula was a joint grow, and alaskan thunder fuck. Also friend grows trainwreck, jack herrar, bubble gum, and a few others. I dont know i personally like the 50 percent amber trichs and the hairs are very hard to go by. My favorite bud was snow white. I got to say i let the trichs go 50 percent amber and wow....fucking amazing, friends said the body high was so intense it was like ssmoking opium. Also the amount of trichs on the snow white was crazy. I could put a cured ounce in a jar and by the time i finished it there was a heaping teaspoon of kief at the bottom of the jar.

chopped, trimmed, and hung for a couple of days...
here's the plant from the op, but now ready to separate off the colas and brown bag 'em prior to glass cure ==>





'been taste-testing for quality assurance aplenty, and it's a very pleasant smoke (once the necrotic bits—late flowering introduction of spt experiment—are removed).

btw, i love my 3rd gen led ufo... with a small but carefully augmented setup, it is entirely possible to flower and, for my quiet ends, well!

after the second flush, the colas were practically starting to dry on the branch (as well as smoke pretty well spot on to my taste), so chop & hang it was... they've been aging quickly and beautifully.
not as much dry(ish) weight as i might've hoped, but it's fine for me and good to have continued room (plenty of) for improvement!
