Prep work

Heey fellas,

I'm doing some prep work fer me closet, and could use some help.

It seems that at places such as Wal-Mart and Target, mylar is a seasonal item. Do places like Auto-Zone or something similar carry them all year 'round?

There are two 4' bulbs left over from my last hit job, but, now that the Aero is coming in, I was going to keep them and get something like a 250W HPS for the end there... So there should be plenty of light.

I'm worried about ventilation. Basically, I have none. Need some help with this if you can. Smell IS an issue, if you can help with that as well.

pH talk scares the -isht- out of me. Where could I find me one of them readers? You know, in the midst of winter, without ordering online. Also could use some help on where I'd find the chemicals to adjust it.

Is that everything? Gotta get an airstone, right? Hrmmmm...

Oh, effin nutrients. I'm going to get the FoxFarm stuff, but until that comes in, how should I use what's given without getting burned? That would be greatly appreciated.

DP Mazer beans coming in aboot a week. Until then, I need youse guys helps.

1. Any sporting goods store has mylar.
2.250 watt HPS light is good for flowering good choice. I just bought a 400 watt, for them tight, compacted. juicy budds. :weed:
3. You can get cool tubes, or have it venelating through something. You said you were growing in a closet, me too. I was just gonna leave the door open and have a fan blowing on the light 24/7.
4. They don't need nutes for 2 weeks, so I think they'll be fine, for when the nutes come in.
5. You deff. want an airstone, air pump, and some plastic tubing. Can get all that at wal-mart. The more air for the roots to breathe is good.
6. You can get a ph tester at any local hydroponic shop.

Picked up mylar, an air pump, a fan, and a damn lock.

The garden came in today.... aaand I busted one of the frackin bulbs trying to take it out. Soo, I thought the middle spot would have to be clear until the replacement comes.

Am I correct in assuming that the HPS equipment and a digital pH meter are, on average, something like $200 a piece? That would be a bummer.

Still could use some smell-control info if you're good with it.

And if one kind soul could say something that would keep me from just starting bagseed, and waiting for them mazar beans, that would be greeeaaaaat.

Thanks a bunch, you cool cats.

I spent 20 bucks on a digital ph meter. I bought a 400 watt hps light system for 120 bucks.:weed:

Some kind of vaporizer forget what it's called. If you look it up, you'll find it.
