So I have some seedlings I popped a few weeks back (they are old enough to be showing sex) and talked with Ec about them but im gonna throw up some quick picks to see if you come up with the same conclusions about them as I have before I destroy some innocent girls.
Im gonna put up two sets of pics so plz dont comment till i get both sets up.

Now I know what plants look like when they are flowering (male from female) and Im seeing some things that basically look like male pollen sacs developing early on some of these plants but am not seeing any of the hairs that would indicate female traits in a plant. Is this the same in presecing as when a plant is in full on flowering?
I have more pics if the ones I provided arent enough I just took what I thought was the best pic of each pant and their nodes.

Thanks in advance

Afg#3 could be your first male... And odds are you will (as you know) have a couple in there but from my experience (somewhere north of id say 500 beans) that its still a lil early to count your chickens so to speak. Ive had, several times actually, plants that I thought I'd be able to breed w, as in the male side of the equation, turn out to be female. So don't chop yet!! Look for those hairs and if you're thinking they're males wait for that first flower to make the turn downwards to be sure!! Id say I've been fooled about 10% of the time, err let's say 9% so I still get an "A" :)

lol, AFG3 was my first 'pretty sure it's a dude' thought. the others I can't really tell.

BA - try this if you have a loop scope .... hold it on the end of your digital cameras lens and only magnify to the cameras maximum lens magnification (no enhanced) .... the results are easier to read and makes for great budporn

Herijuana male I used

and the BxCK were tricky, thought several were males and put them aside, only for 1/2 of them to show female 2 weeks later.

Were the originals as hard to tell as the backcrosses?

Andy, those all look very healthy! That Bubba looks really good, is it a pre-98 cross from EC? or something else?

only one cross of the bubba x corleone so far. if i find a keeper male I'll backcross to the pre98Bubba again to further strengthen the pre98 Bubba in the mix.

All seeds from our friend, got em budbowl weekend, I looked over the time period of when they were popped. My post was 2/14 in a diff thread (which i prob shoulda just put these in) so we looking at 6 weeks of veg time. should have better idea i guess in the next week or two weeks on sex. time feels like it flies for everything EXCEPT veg/flower time in my room. its so friggin weird.
